Today we’d like to introduce you to Jada Archer.
Hi Jada, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I’m originally from NY in 2015. I moved here when I was 17 & lived with a family friend, I had no birth certificate or social security card. I struggled to obtain these documents for months. Once I did, I became a hostess at applebees working 40hrs a week. I made $150, at that point I decided this was not for me. I began brainstorming & trying to figure out what I was passionate about. I struggled with finding a business I could start with little start-up cost & then one day, it just came to me to start a cleaning business. By then, I was working for Walmart (2017), so I began doing work for free to get content for my business & from there on people was so intrigued by work ethic my first 6-7 months was so busy but I still hadn’t took my business seriously because I was still working full time at Walmart. I continuously put my business on the back burner while working for Walmart until 2019 March when the pandemic hit, & that’s when I went into grind mode. I realized that working for someone wasn’t gonna get me the life I dreamed of & that a job could be gone any minute. From there on, I worked hard to promote my business & collab with others to grow my brand. After being a business owner & meeting so many other business owners, I realized I was in the wrong field. I had a natural talent for helping people grow they’re brand & social media. I never thought I’d be in the career I’m in today because it always felt like a hobby. As of 2021, I have helped multiple businesses with they’re brand & it feels good. I’m doing what I love & making money it no longer feels like a job.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I’ve faced homelessness, car accidents, cutting off family members because they don’t see my vision. Failed relationship, losing my daughter @ the beginning of 2019.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
Cre Content is a business that provides social media management & content creation for businesses. Through the years, I’ve always helped close friends & family members with they’re business at the time, I didn’t know there was even a job that carried these responsibilities. After starting my cleaning business, I realized that so many other business owners needed the services that Cre Content provides so I turned my hobby into my hustle. I’m proud to be able to say that I can help people who are in the same shoes that I was once in when I started my 1st business. What set my brand aside from others is that I treat they’re brand as if it’s my own, nobody cares about your business more than you & Cre Content of course, lol.
What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
Most importantly, I’ve learned to never give up & stay consistent.
