Hi Joshua , so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
After graduating Southwest Dekalb high school in 2022, I began doing lawn care on the side. As I worked, I noticed many people in my area were offering similar services, but few were building something memorable or consistent. I wanted to create a household name a brand people could trust, remember, and genuinely enjoy working with.

That vision led to the creation of True to Earth Landscaping in 2023. Since then, we have proudly serviced over 100 customers and continue to grow each season. Our focus has always been on quality work, honest service, and building lasting relationships within the community.

True to Earth was built with the goal of raising the standard for local landscaping and creating a brand people can rely on long term.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
One of the biggest obstacles I faced early on was learning how to attract customers and how to price my work properly. In the beginning, I had to figure out marketing through trial and error while also learning how to charge rates that reflected the quality of my service without underpricing myself. These challenges pushed me to learn sales, customer communication, and the true value of my work, which helped shape the business into what it is today.

True to Earth Landscaping is a locally owned landscaping company dedicated to providing reliable, high-quality outdoor services with integrity and attention to detail. We specialize in lawn maintenance, clean-ups, mulch and rock installation, sod installation, drainage solutions, and landscape enhancements for both residential and select commercial properties.
