Hi Talya, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Meet the Founder and Owner of Klassy Kurves & Bodies Salon Suites. Founded in Atlanta, GA and created by female founder Talya Wright.

Klassy Kurves is located in Decatur off of Covington Hwy.

My business was strictly about weight loss three years ago during the pandemic my mother because very sick and I couldn’t focus on my business like I wanted to so my older sister Whitney was like let’s change it to braid studio that’s something you can occupy the space so it won’t set empty August 20, 2021 I opened my doors as a salon suite & braid studio it’s been great ever since. I feel though sometimes everyone can’t see your vision but you. I’ve never done hair ever in my life. As time went on, I learned how to braid & Challenge myself to new goals. Hardest thing as a businesswoman is making the rules and trying to following all the rules you make.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No challenges along the way. Being a businesswoman taught me a lot such as Determination will help you overcome adversity. It’s what keeps entrepreneurs motivated even if they have several failed business ventures under their belt. It’s what helps them ignore the words of their haters and skeptics. If you have a big goal that you’re trying to accomplish, you can develop your determination as it helps drive you.

The best thing about being a determined entrepreneur is that it makes adversity bearable. Most determined business people don’t even realize they’re experiencing challenges because they’re so committed to achieving their goal. No negative thought or obstacle can stand in the way of their success.

My business is my baby. When you give birth to the idea and nurture it until it begins to take on a life of its own. You will watch it take its first steps and feel the stumbles that follow. And each year I continue setting goals for myself, no matter how big or small. For that, I am most proud of myself just from coming from a demanding career to being my own boss.
