Today we’d like to introduce you to Troynae George.
Hi Troynae, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I’m a filmmaker and also an entertainment talent manager. I have been writing many feature film stories for about six years. I’m currently working on making the sequel of the hit PBS kids cartoon Arthur, Bloody Mary, and etc. I have been doing entertainment entirely since 2016. I represent and manage many upcoming talents, such as actors, models, etc throughout their careers.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Yes, some of the struggles that I faced is working with unpassionated filmmakers. I feel as though this entertainment industry is about creating and developing topics that can inspire and motivate others to join. I feel as though none union filmmakers should come together to support and build a corporation with each other to create and maintain their creativity.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about SC Film Studio?
SC Film Studio is an uprising movie production that is open to creating and pitch motion picture films. We have many individuals that specialize with writing, producing, etc. We work with any budget. I love to create horror, action, thriller, etc films. I believe SC Film Studio is far apart from other independent companies because we like to create high-demand quality films. We love to invest our tools and resources to others to develop a project. I’m known for creating the sequel of an infamous serial killer of Pee Wee Gaskins in South Carolina which is still in production.
Are there any books, apps, podcasts or blogs that help you do your best?
I love streaming services like Netflix, Hulu, Peacock, and etc. It helps me to know what the audience loves to watch.
