Exploring Life & Business with Tunely Michere of Becoming Her

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tunely Michere.

Hi Tunely, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’ve always been deeply passionate about transformation — both in myself and others. My journey began long before Her Becoming was born. For years, I navigated womanhood while carrying unhealed parts of my girlhood, and at some point, I realized that so many of us were never really guided through that transition with care, love, or understanding.

That realization led me to create Her Becoming LLC, a space dedicated to helping girls embrace their bodies, emotions, and values from a place of confidence and self-awareness. What started as a simple idea — teaching girls about their menstrual cycles and self-care — has now grown into intentional workshops, puberty parties, and programs that nurture self-esteem, mindfulness, and purpose.

Every lesson I teach comes from my own healing journey — learning to slow down, to listen to my body, and to lead with softness and intention. Today, I blend my background in leadership and sales with my passion for feminine wellness and youth empowerment, helping both mothers and daughters reconnect to their power and sense of worth.

Her Becoming is more than a business to me — it’s a movement toward raising grounded, emotionally intelligent young women who know their value and lead with grace.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road — but it’s been a meaningful one.

In the beginning, I was juggling motherhood, a full-time job, and building Her Becoming from a place of pure passion. There were moments I felt unseen, unsupported, and overwhelmed — doing everything alone while still trying to show up gracefully. I also had to overcome my own fears of visibility, learning to trust my voice and believe that what I carried inside of me was valuable.

Financially and emotionally, there were seasons that tested me. Marketing didn’t always work the way I hoped, people didn’t always understand the vision, and at times I doubted whether it would all come together. But every obstacle pushed me to evolve — to become more disciplined, more grounded, and more aligned with why I started in the first place.

Through it all, I’ve learned that growth requires softness and strength in equal measure. Every challenge became a teacher, shaping not just my business, but the woman behind it.

We’ve been impressed with Becoming Her, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Her Becoming LLC is a feminine education and empowerment company designed to guide girls through one of the most sacred transitions of their lives — puberty. Through workshops, period parties, and self-discovery experiences, we help girls ages 7–16 understand their bodies, emotions, and values so they can grow into confident, grounded young women.

We specialize in teaching cycle awareness, emotional intelligence, and intentional living — blending modern wellness with the ancient wisdom of womanhood. Our programs aren’t just about anatomy; they’re about helping girls feel proud of who they are and equipped to navigate friendships, emotions, and self-worth.

What sets Her Becoming apart is our gentle, feminine approach. Every experience is curated with softness — from our color palette to our tone of voice to the energy we create in the room. We bridge science and soul, creating spaces where girls and parents can reconnect, talk openly, and celebrate growth instead of fearing it.

Brand-wise, I’m most proud that Her Becoming feels like a movement — one that’s helping rewrite how young girls are introduced to their womanhood. It’s not clinical or awkward; it’s beautiful, nurturing, and celebratory.

For readers, I want them to know that Her Becoming is more than workshops — it’s an invitation to change the narrative for the next generation. We’re raising girls who understand their value early, and that, I believe, is how we heal the world from the root up.

How do you think about luck?
I believe luck has shown up in both subtle and unexpected ways. There have been moments that felt like bad luck — doors closing, people walking away, opportunities falling through — but every single one of those moments redirected me toward deeper purpose and alignment.

The truth is, I don’t see luck as random anymore. I see it as divine timing. When I was rejected, it taught me resilience. When things didn’t go as planned, it created space for something better to unfold. And when the right opportunities arrived, they met me in seasons when I was truly ready.

In business, I’ve had what some might call “good luck” — meeting the right collaborators at the right time, finding parents who deeply believe in Her Becoming, and watching the brand grow in ways that feel magical. But I also know that those moments came because of consistency, faith, and being obedient to the vision even when no one was clapping.

So, I’d say luck — both the good and the bad — has been a mirror. It’s shown me that everything really is working in my favor, even when it doesn’t look like it at first.
