Hidden Gems: Meet Adrian Dailey of Dailey Fit Club

Today we’d like to introduce you to Adrian Dailey.

Adrian Dailey

Hi Adrian , so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
After taking and teaching spin classes at big box gyms, smaller studios, and college campuses for over 20 years, we started to notice something was missing: representation.

African American and Afro Caribbean people loved spin too, but we did not always see ourselves reflected in the music, the energy, the culture, or the movement. The classes were fun, but they did not always feel like us.

So when we created Dailey Fit Club, we decided to build the kind of fitness space we wished existed. A place where soca, dancehall, hip hop, R&B, afrobeats, and culture could live inside the workout. A place where people could sweat, dance, heal, laugh, and feel seen all at the same time.

Dailey Fit Club was created to be more than a gym. It is a community. It is a safe space. It is where fitness meets culture, confidence, and joy. Today, we are proud to have built a community where people come not just to work out, but to feel connected, celebrated, and empowered.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
No, it has not been a smooth road at all. One of the biggest struggles we faced happened when tens of thousands of dollars worth of our spin bikes were stolen right before one of the largest moments in our career.

At the time, we were preparing for our first major collaboration with well known fitness influencers from Atlanta, and the event was expected to serve hundreds of people. We were heartbroken. Without the bikes, we were almost forced to cancel everything we had worked so hard to build.

But by the grace of God, we did not give up.

With only three weeks before the event, our community showed up for us in a way we will never forget. They donated to Dailey Fit Club so we could replace the bikes, and we matched their support. Just two days before the event, we were able to purchase new bikes and keep going.

That moment could have broken us, but instead it reminded us why Dailey Fit Club exists. We are more than a fitness studio. We are a community. We refused to quit, and because of that resilience and support, we are now here in our new space, still growing, still serving, and still pushing forward.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Dailey Fit Club?
Dailey Fit Club is a boutique fitness studio in Lauderhill, Florida that specializes in high energy indoor cycling, strength training, bootcamp style classes, and personal training. But what really makes us different is the culture we bring into fitness.

We are known for creating fitness experiences that feel like a party, a release, and a community all in one. Our classes are powered by music, movement, and culture, with sounds like soca, dancehall, hip hop, R&B, afrobeats, trap, and Caribbean rhythms. We wanted to create a space where people could not only get stronger physically, but also feel seen, celebrated, and free to be themselves.

What sets Dailey Fit Club apart is that we do not offer cookie cutter workouts. Every class has energy, personality, choreography, motivation, and intention behind it. Whether someone is brand new to fitness or already advanced, we want them to feel welcomed the moment they walk through the door. Our goal is to make fitness feel exciting, empowering, and accessible.

Brand wise, we are most proud of the community we have built. Dailey Fit Club is more than a gym. It is a place where people show up for themselves and for each other. We have watched members gain confidence, improve their health, build friendships, and push past limits they did not even know they had.

We want readers to know that Dailey Fit Club is not just about burning calories. It is about joy, healing, confidence, discipline, and connection. We offer indoor cycling classes, themed rides, bootcamps, personal training, community fitness events, and unforgettable experiences that make people excited to move their bodies.

At the heart of our brand, we are here to remind people that fitness can be fun, cultural, powerful, and transformational. Our hours of operation for spin are Monday – Thursday 7pm, Saturday 7am. Bootcamps are held on Monday and Wednesday at 5am, and Saturday at 9am.

Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
Risk has been a huge part of our journey. I think anyone who builds something from the ground up has to develop a certain level of faith, courage, and resilience because there is never a perfect time to leap.

For years, we rented space inside other gyms. That season taught us a lot. It helped us build our community, understand our members, and sharpen the Dailey Fit Club experience. But eventually, we knew we had outgrown being inside someone else’s space. We wanted to create an environment that truly reflected our culture, our energy, our music, our standards, and our vision.

One of the biggest risks we took was deciding to branch out on our own and get our own building, especially with limited access to capital. That was not an easy decision. It required a lot of sacrifice, faith, strategy, and belief in what we were building. There were moments where we had to move forward without having every answer, but we knew the vision deserved a real home.

To us, risk is not about being reckless. It is about being willing to bet on yourself when the purpose is bigger than the fear. Opening our own space was a leap, but it also gave Dailey Fit Club room to become what it was always meant to be: a full community fitness experience.

That risk changed everything for us. It allowed us to build a space that feels like home for our members, expand our offerings, host bigger events, and show our community what is possible when you refuse to stay small.
