Today we’d like to introduce you to Breyonna Parline.
Hi Breyonna, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My journey started with a passion for helping others and creating something that would make a real impact in people’s lives. I founded TrueBright Home Care after recognizing the growing need for compassionate, dependable care for seniors and individuals with disabilities throughout Georgia. What began as a vision to serve families in my community has continued to grow into a company focused on not only providing quality care, but also creating meaningful experiences and support systems for our clients and caregivers.
Like many entrepreneurs, my journey has come with challenges, lessons, and moments that pushed me to grow personally and professionally. In the beginning, I operated from a home office while learning every aspect of the business firsthand , from staffing and client relations to marketing and operations. Through consistency, faith, and determination, I was able to expand services across the state of Georgia and continue building a brand centered around compassion, professionalism, and community impact.
One thing that has always been important to me is making our company stand out by focusing on the human side of care. We’ve incorporated initiatives like client self-care outings, senior community events, and caregiver appreciation efforts because I believe care should go beyond basic services , it should help people feel valued, seen, and connected.
Today, I’m continuing to grow TrueBright Home Care while also working toward expanding into other areas of healthcare, including launching TrueBright Adult Day Care Center. My goal is to build a lasting brand that positively impacts families, creates opportunities for others, and changes the way people experience care in our communities.
Most importantly, this journey has taught me the importance of resilience, confidence, and trusting the process even when things don’t happen overnight.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No, it definitely has not been a completely smooth road, but every challenge has helped shape me into a stronger business owner and leader. One of the biggest struggles was building and growing the business while wearing so many hats at once. In the beginning, I was handling everything from recruiting caregivers and managing schedules to marketing, client communication, and operations. Learning how to balance all of those responsibilities while still maintaining quality care was a major learning experience.
Another challenge has been staffing and caregiver reliability, which is something many agencies in the healthcare industry face. There were times when call-outs, last-minute schedule changes, or finding the right caregivers for clients became stressful and directly impacted the business. Those experiences taught me the importance of creating stronger systems, improving communication, and building a company culture centered around accountability and professionalism.
I’ve also had moments of self-doubt as an entrepreneur, especially while trying to grow the business and put myself out there more confidently. Stepping into leadership, networking, promoting the brand, and being the face of the company pushed me outside of my comfort zone. But over time, I realized that growth requires discomfort, and I’ve learned to embrace that process.
Financially, there were sacrifices as well. Investing back into the business, securing office space, rebranding, and preparing for future expansion all required faith and long-term thinking. There were moments where the pressure felt heavy, but I stayed focused on the bigger vision and the impact I want to make in the healthcare community.
Despite the challenges, I’m grateful for the journey because it has taught me resilience, patience, adaptability, and the importance of staying committed to your purpose even when things get difficult.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
My business is centered around creating compassionate, high-quality care experiences for seniors and individuals with disabilities through both TrueBright Home Care and TrueBright Adult Day Care Center. Our mission is to support families by providing dependable care while also helping clients maintain dignity, independence, and meaningful social connections.
At TrueBright Home Care, we provide non-medical in-home care services across Georgia, assisting clients with daily living activities, companionship, respite care, personal care, meal preparation, transportation, and more. We serve seniors, individuals with disabilities, and families who need trusted support for their loved ones at home.
TrueBright Adult Day Care Center was created as an extension of that same vision , to provide a safe, engaging, and uplifting environment where seniors and disabled adults can socialize, participate in activities, receive support services, and experience a true sense of community during the day. We want the center to feel warm, welcoming, and elevated , not institutional. Our goal is to create an environment where clients genuinely look forward to attending.
What sets our brand apart is our focus on the overall experience, not just the service itself. We believe care should feel personal, compassionate, and engaging. We go beyond traditional caregiving by creating programs, events, and experiences that promote confidence, connection, and quality of life. Whether it’s hosting community events for seniors, organizing self-care outings, recognizing caregivers, or creating meaningful client activities, we strive to make people feel valued and cared for in every interaction.
We also place a strong emphasis on professionalism, presentation, and company culture. From our branding and uniforms to our communication and client experience, we want families to feel confident that they are choosing a company that truly cares and operates with excellence.
Brand-wise, I’m most proud of building something that reflects both my passion for helping others and my vision for changing the way people experience care services. I’m proud that our brand is becoming known for compassion, creativity, community involvement, and the desire to genuinely make a difference in people’s lives.
Most importantly, I want readers to know that TrueBright Home Care and TrueBright Adult Day Care Center are more than care providers , we are building a community-centered brand focused on bringing comfort, support, dignity, and joy to the families we serve.
What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
I believe the healthcare and senior care industry is going to experience major growth and transformation over the next 5–10 years, especially in home care and adult day services. One of the biggest shifts is the increasing demand for “aging in place,” meaning more seniors want to remain in their homes and communities instead of moving into facilities. As the senior population continues to grow, families are looking for care options that are more personal, flexible, and community-centered.
