Hidden Gems: Meet Hekima Havard of Mikeze Labs LLC

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I started in IT about 20 plus years ago. I started out when I first graduated highschool and came up with a antique site where you can purchase antiques and I would recieve a commission. Fast forward I started working for Mike Tyson ahead of his marketing, web development and street team. We came up with and launced Miketysonfanclub.com. At that time we ranked no. 3 on google of all websites in the us. Then I moved on and worked in telco, entertainment and healthcare. I started my own edtech company with humans first and leveraged by ai. We incorporate music, videos, lessons, games and more to make a complete ecosystem for students and k-12 students to get engaged with. Now we have launched into the atlanta market for students in grades k-12.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
No nothing in entrepreneurship is smooth. It’s been a rough road however anything worth having wont be easy.

We develop apps, SAAS, websites and ai enhanced and powered applications and desktop dashboards. Weve been around since 2019. We specialize in building applications that solve business problems. How far we have come in our development and the projects we have released such as EzStart.ai. An application that is a business in a box. We are here to service them. My passion lies in helping other people reach their dreams and removing the barriers to entry.

We’d love to hear about how you think about risk taking?
It’s always a risk, however I look at it as more risky staying in a job you don’t like or doesn’t pay enough. I am a risk taker but it all has to be calculated.
