Hidden Gems: Meet Larissa Gaddis

Today we’d like to introduce you to Larissa Gaddis.

Hi Larissa, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I believe that the journey to where I am today in my life started well before I even knew; that’s how God works. He writes the plan for our lives and He patiently waits for us to direct our attention to Him so that He can reveal the details of that plan. I became more in tune with the unveiling of His plan for my life back in 2012. It wasn’t until 2015 that I actually began to seek Him for guidance and instruction on His will for my life instead of just telling Him what I wanted the plan to be.

The more I began to seek Him, the more my will became His will, my plans His plans and I started feeling a great level of fulfillment, self-love, self-worth, and #godfidence. That’s when I began to acknowledge His favor over my life publicly and all that He allowed me accomplish in Him. In 2017 God opened doors for me to lead and speak in a greater capacity, write my very first book, Leadership Redefined, and accept the call on my life to mentor and influence people to know Him through my actions.

2019 is when I heard God vividly tell me that I would be leaving corporate federal job for full-time entrepreneurship. As of 23 April 2021, I consider myself a Homemaker CEO (a phrase coined from my mother-in-law). I value deeply the impact of family and I am committed to not only supporting my family emotionally, mentally, and physically but also financially. The modern-day Proverbs 31 woman. Everything I do is first for my husband, Branden Gaddis and sweet baby girl Josiah Jordyn Gaddis, but then for all of you.

To date, I continue on my mission to establish kingdom on earth, push men and women into their God-given purpose, equipped with the ability to turn their pain into profit, use their gifts for the greater good, and their voice to impact and influence others!

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
As smooth as a gravel road can be. I say that because I understand that without pain, without pressure, nothing is quiet what it has the capacity to be. Take a pearl, for instance, a natural pearl forms when an irritant works its way into a particular species of oyster, mussel, or clam. A diamond endures a similar process as they are formed deep within the Earth’s crust under conditions of intense heat and pressure that cause carbon atoms to crystallise, forming diamonds.

The journey of my life, has had great pressure at time, an abusive relationship that diminished my confidence, a layoff that caused me to question my identity, and a drug addiction that tried to deter and distract me from my destiny…

BUT GOD! Now, I give all glory to God, who is able to keep you from falling away and will bring you with great joy into his glorious presence without a single fault. He is the reason I stand tall and press on. He is the reason I look into the face of fear and laugh. He is the reason I share my story without shame, living authentically free.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
My business, LarissaNicole Coaching and Consulting Group consists of three parts. I speak to college students and young professional millennials to inspire, instruct, and encourage them to see the advantages of using their purpose and gifts for business and for profit. I coach professional women and entrepreneurs to reprogram their subconscious thoughts to align with their desires and Manifest Massive Success in their business online.

I consult corporate companies specifically on employee relations. This includes employee retention, employee satisfaction, work culture and environment, and bridging generational gaps. Essentially I am able to leverage my education and expertise in Business, Leadership, Purpose, and Personal development in all three industries. I believe what sets me apart is the foundation of my business is rooted in a desire, the manifestation of that desire is rooted in a mindset, the success of my business is a result of faith and trust in God.

What I am most proud of brand-wise is my belief in self. It’s so easy to talk yourself out of being who you are called to be and doing what you’re called to do because of fear, the objections and disbelief of others, finances, and traumas that life can bring… but through it all, I have believed in myself and the vision that God gave me. I want my readers to know that I live by and do all things by the motto of my mentor, Marshawn Evans Daniels, “When a woman makes up her mind, her mind makes things happen.” You Queen, have the opportunity to do and be anything you put your mind to.

The crisis has affected us all in different ways. How has it affected you and any important lessons or epiphanies you can share with us?
Absolutely, never let a good crisis go to waste, the words of Winston Churchill. There were a lot of terrible things that happened in this COVID 19 Pandemic, a lot of changes, and unknowns, bur if you were able to shift your mindset and perspective and work the crisis and not let the crisis work you… this season could’ve elevated you to new levels and new heights, in business, in your own personal development, in your marriage, as a parent… so many areas! That’s exactly what it has done for me.
