Today we’d like to introduce you to Rev. Rameka Dillon-Griffin.
Rev. Rameka, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My journey has been built on faith, resilience, creativity, and a passion for helping people. I’m a minister, entrepreneur, mobile notary, wedding officiant, and community advocate based in the Metro Atlanta area. Over the years, I’ve worn many hats, but at the center of everything I do is a desire to serve others with compassion, professionalism, and purpose.
My entrepreneurial background originally began with an online clothing boutique, where I developed a love for business, branding, customer service, and creating opportunities through entrepreneurship. That experience introduced me to the realities of building something from the ground up and planted the seeds for many of the ventures that would follow.
From there, my journey expanded into the creative industry through a family-operated recording studio business, where we provided a space for independent artists and creatives to develop their talents and pursue their goals. Working within the creative and business worlds taught me the importance of perseverance, adaptability, and community connection.
My background in ministry later inspired me to launch Global Change Ministries Inc., where I focus on faith-based encouragement, outreach, and community support. Through our ministry, we strive to uplift individuals and families through prayer, guidance, outreach initiatives, and acts of compassion for those facing difficult seasons. Supporting people spiritually and emotionally has become one of the most meaningful parts of my journey.
Through ministry, I also became a wedding officiant, which has been incredibly rewarding because I get to celebrate love, commitment, and family during some of life’s most meaningful moments. In addition, I expanded into mobile notary services to provide professional and convenient support for clients who need trustworthy and reliable document services.
Like many entrepreneurs, the journey has come with challenges that tested my faith, resilience, and determination, but those experiences ultimately helped shape the person and leader I am today. Today, I continue growing my businesses and ministry while remaining committed to making a positive impact in my community.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
My journey has definitely not been a smooth road. Like many entrepreneurs and community leaders, I’ve faced challenges that tested my faith, resilience, and determination.
One of the biggest struggles has been navigating the realities of entrepreneurship — building businesses, adapting to change, overcoming setbacks, and continuing to move forward even during uncertain seasons. Behind every business and ministry effort are sacrifices, risks, and moments where you have to learn how to pivot, rebuild, and remain committed to your vision.
I’ve also faced personal loss, family challenges, and difficult seasons that required me to balance leadership, service, and perseverance all at once. There were times when I had to continue showing up for others while working through challenges of my own, which taught me a great deal about strength, grace, and endurance.
Professionally, I experienced business hardships that pushed me to become more resourceful, diversify my skills, and expand into new areas of service. Rather than allowing obstacles to define me, I chose to use those experiences as opportunities for growth and reinvention.
At the same time, ministry and outreach gave me a deeper perspective. Walking alongside individuals and families facing hardship reminded me that many people carry unseen struggles, and it strengthened my passion for serving and encouraging others.
Looking back, I can honestly say the obstacles shaped me into a stronger entrepreneur, leader, and woman of faith. They taught me resilience, adaptability, and the importance of continuing to build with purpose, even when the journey is challenging.
As you know, we’re big fans of Global Change Ministries . For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
My work is centered around service, faith, advocacy, and community impact. Through ministry, entrepreneurship, outreach, and justice-focused advocacy, my mission is to help people navigate some of life’s most important and often most difficult moments with compassion, integrity, and purpose.
Through Global Change Ministries Inc., I focus on faith-based encouragement, outreach, and community support. Our mission extends beyond traditional ministry — we strive to meet people where they are through prayer, guidance, outreach initiatives, and compassionate support for individuals and families facing hardship or transition.
A meaningful part of my journey has also been advocacy and the pursuit of justice. Through personal experiences and challenges, I developed a deeper passion for helping individuals understand their rights, find resources, navigate difficult systems, and continue fighting for fairness, accountability, and restoration. That work has strengthened my commitment to standing beside people who feel unheard, overlooked, or overwhelmed by the challenges they face.
In addition to ministry and advocacy, I serve as a wedding officiant, helping couples create meaningful and personalized ceremonies that reflect their values, personalities, and love stories. I also provide mobile notary services focused on professional, convenient, and reliable support for individuals, families, and businesses.
What sets me apart is the combination of faith, service, entrepreneurship, and advocacy. I don’t simply view my work as a business transaction — I view it as an opportunity to genuinely serve, empower, and uplift people. Whether someone is seeking spiritual encouragement, celebrating a marriage, handling important documents, navigating challenges, or looking for support during difficult seasons, I strive to lead with compassion, professionalism, and authenticity.
Brand-wise, what I’m most proud of is building work rooted in purpose, resilience, and community impact. I want readers to know that my brand is about more than services — it is about creating meaningful connections, encouraging others, and using faith, advocacy, and entrepreneurship to make a positive difference.
Are there any books, apps, podcasts or blogs that help you do your best?
Faith, learning, and personal growth play a major role in how I approach both life and work. One of my greatest resources is the Bible, along with prayer, personal reflection, and devotional study, which help keep me grounded, focused, and resilient.
As an entrepreneur, ministry leader, and advocate, I’m always learning from books, podcasts, social media, and online resources centered around faith, leadership, business, branding, community impact, and personal growth.
I also rely on a variety of digital tools, business resources, and creative platforms to help manage communication, organization, education, outreach, and the many moving parts of entrepreneurship and ministry.
Beyond apps and resources, some of my greatest lessons have come from real-life experience. Working in ministry, entrepreneurship, outreach, and advocacy has taught me resilience, adaptability, compassion, and the importance of leading with purpose.
