Holly Cellini of Senoia on Life, Lessons & Legacy

We recently had the chance to connect with Holly Cellini and have shared our conversation below.

Holly, so good to connect and we’re excited to share your story and insights with our audience. There’s a ton to learn from your story, but let’s start with a warm up before we get into the heart of the interview. What are you being called to do now, that you may have been afraid of before?
I feel like I’m being called to put myself in front of the camera and show up consistently on social media to grow my business. In the past, I was afraid of being judged or not coming across the right way, so I avoided posting regularly. Now, I realize that sharing my work and my personality is an important part of connecting with others and expanding what I’ve built. Stepping out of my comfort zone to post daily isn’t just about marketing—it’s about believing in myself and my purpose enough to be seen.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hi! My name is Holly Cellini, and I’m a floral and seasonal designer with over 30 years of experience in the floral industry, including many years of running my own business. Originally from Southern California, I’ve been fortunate to have my work published in magazines in both California and Georgia.

About eight years ago, I transitioned into the design world, where I discovered my passion for creating immersive fall and Christmas designs. Over the years, I’ve become known for crafting unique photo opportunities and my signature faux floral mannequins, which blend art, creativity, and storytelling in one-of-a-kind ways.

My work can be seen throughout Georgia, including custom installations for The Town of Trilith, The Avenue in Peachtree City, and Senoia, Georgia. Each project allows me to combine artistry with a touch of seasonal magic — creating spaces and moments that bring people joy and inspiration.

Okay, so here’s a deep one: What did you believe about yourself as a child that you no longer believe?
As a child, I believed that being quiet and blending in was the safest way to move through the world. I was painfully shy and often afraid to show my true personality or creative ideas. I thought I had to fit into a certain mold to be accepted. As I’ve grown older, I’ve realized that what makes me different is actually my greatest strength. My creativity, vision, and ability to see beauty in unexpected places have allowed me to express myself through floral and seasonal design in ways that truly reflect who I am. I no longer hide behind the scenes — instead, I embrace standing out and sharing my work with confidence.

If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
If I could say one kind thing to my younger self, I would tell her that one day, all the pain and hurt from being bullied will shape her into someone deeply kind and full of empathy. I would remind her that her sensitivity is not a weakness—it’s her greatest strength. The way she feels so deeply for others will become a gift that makes people feel seen, valued, and loved.

Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. What’s a belief or project you’re committed to, no matter how long it takes?
The number one thing on my bucket list is to decorate the White House at Christmas. I apply every year and have done so several times, though I haven’t been selected yet. I’m committed to continuing to build my portfolio and grow as a designer, and I’ll keep applying until the day I’m chosen. It’s a dream I refuse to give up on.

Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: What will you regret not doing?
If I ever look back with regret, it would be for the times I didn’t put my family first. My greatest wish is to be fully present for my children — to show up for their milestones, listen when they need me, and create memories that will last long after I’m gone. I never want to be so busy chasing goals that I forget what truly matters most.

I would also regret not being the kind of friend who shows up, supports, and loves without hesitation. Relationships mean everything to me, and I believe in choosing love, even when it’s hard. Love has always been my guiding light — in my family, my friendships, and the way I move through the world.

At the end of the day, I want to be remembered for how deeply I loved and how fully I showed up for the people who mattered most.
