Inspiring Conversations with King Khan of King Khan Realtor

Today we’d like to introduce you to King Khan.

King Khan

Hi King, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I moved to the U.S. from Pakistan looking for opportunity, not just for myself, but for my family and my community. I built my career in corporate America, working with big companies like AT&T and Comcast. There, I learned a lot about sales, business development, customer service, and leadership. I worked hard and earned several awards, even ranking in the top 2% in the state. But over time, I wanted to do more than just sell. I wanted to serve people. That’s why I got into real estate. Now, I help families buy, sell, and invest in homes around Metro Atlanta. I mainly work in Gwinnett and North Fulton, focusing on families and first-time buyers who need honest and reliable guidance through one of life’s biggest decisions.
Besides real estate, I stay active in my community, especially with the Pakistani-American and Muslim groups in Atlanta. I’ve held leadership roles with organizations like Gwinnett Islamic Circle, Voices of Muslims, and the Pakistani American Community of Atlanta, where I helped with outreach and empowering others. I also started Salam Kids ATL, which offers fun and faith-friendly programs for kids ages 5 to 10.
Along with my brothers, we support several families back in Pakistan by helping with education, healthcare, food, and important life events. It’s our way of giving back to the places that made us who we are.
Everything I do, whether real estate or community work, comes from one simple belief: the best people are those who help others the most. I’m here to serve, guide, and help people move forward, one relationship at a time.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The road hasn’t been smooth, but every challenge helped me grow. As an immigrant, I had to start from scratch, a new country, new systems, no shortcuts. I worked long hours in corporate sales while adjusting to a new culture, learning how things work, and building trust one step at a time. Getting into real estate was tough too. I didn’t come from a family of agents or investors, so I had to study hard, build my network from zero, and earning trust in a competitive market. At the same time, I stayed committed to helping my community here and back home in Pakistan. Balancing business and service work is not always easy, especially when resources are tight and expectations are high. But it’s what I believe in.
The hardest part has been staying consistent when things get tough. But with patience, faith, and a clear purpose, I keep going, because I remember why I started.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I run my real estate business as King Khan Realtor, helping buyers, sellers, and investors across Metro Atlanta. While I’m with Keller Williams, the #1 real estate company, I’m building my own brand based on trust, service, and strong relationships, especially with immigrant and faith-based communities. Before real estate, I had a successful career in corporate America. I was an award-winning executive at Fortune 50 companies AT&T and Comcast, focusing on sales, customer solutions, and business development. That experience taught me how to communicate well, negotiate, and provide top service. Now, I use those skills to help my clients every day.
I mainly help families, especially first-time buyers, feel confident and clear when making one of life’s biggest decisions. I work mostly in Gwinnett and North Fulton, where I have strong local connections and a reputation for honest advice.
Outside of real estate, I founded Salam Kids ATL, a nonprofit that creates faith-friendly programs for kids ages 5 to 10. Whether it’s real estate or community service, everything I do is about relationships and making a real difference.

Can you share something surprising about yourself?
Most people don’t know I was the driving force behind Muslim American Heritage Month in Georgia. I met with the Governor’s team to make it happen, and I’m grateful to Governor Brian Kemp for officially declaring July as Muslim American Heritage Month in Georgia in 2023, the first time ever. The Governor’s Atlanta representative, Sebastian Barron, presented the official proclamation to me during our gala.
I also want to give credit to our Voices of Muslims executive team. Thanks to their hard work, five metro Atlanta counties and over 30 cities in Georgia now officially recognize Muslim American Heritage Month. VOM continues leading efforts to raise awareness across the state.
