Hi Mia, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My Story started.
In 2010 My Grandfather an I had spoke about me going back to school to see what I really wanted for my future.
I went on to enrolling in a Dental college. I just really called myself trying to get my grandfather to believe I could actually take something serious for once in my life besides family.
All in while I was trying to Prove this Point. Within a few months of me being in school, my Grandfather was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer!
Not even two months After we found out everything he passed away!
This devastating event was more than enough to be nothing but determined to finish and just have that “I know you’re smiling down on me” feeling!
The 2year Dental school allowed me to learn and get Certified in every dental duty I would need to excel in my Dental assistant/ Orthodontic assistant career which I went on to accomplish .
In 2012 I Graduated with Honors, and went on to starting my career.
In 2014 While Still working inside the Dental office in Los Angeles California.
I would often find the time to hang out with friends and associates on lunch breaks or after work since I didn’t live in the area.
I went on years later (2017) Still Pursing my career in Dental, But now Becoming a grown woman, Building new relationships and just fully realizing the things I really want out of life at this point.
Long story short, I got Arrested for some bullsh*t! Basically being associated with the wrong crowd in 2014, Got me Locked away 9days after I gave birth to my Son!
when I tell you I went through everything the enemy could have thrown at me all at once!
Fighting a Life sentence while going through Postpartum depression.
While doing Prison time in my home state (Cali), And my Son & Mother fully relocating to ATL.
I just knew when I was released that was going to be my new home.
Coming home everything had changed, things were just really different from what was familiar to me.
My family was different, some healthy some not, friends; some there some counted me out!
I had to figure out how to become the new me while going through ptsd.
All I was interested in was trying to adapt and not fall any more lower then what I felt.
Dental was the only thing I felt I still knew.
Because I went to trial and never was offered a deal, the time I did never affected my certifications.
I jumped right back in working for a dental corporation .
About a year into me being home I was detemined in owning my own Business.
I had found a new passion for teeth, this time it was creating art with Gems, personality, and giving people just something new to enjoy about themself!
A new Beginning.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The Road I can say hasn’t been easy,
Nothing is worst then the challenges I’ve already faced and overcame.
Time management is still considered an obstacle for the time being.
I am learning how to balance things such as House/ Mommy Duties,Soccer practice for my son,
my 9 to 5 job, scheduling and also marketing.
Im really just getting into all the new ways to help Promote a Business, and trying to find some type of daily routine or structor to make everything run a little smoother then what its been.
I can honestly say the only thing I’m constantly struggling with is trying to still Adapt with the “NEW” society and focus on my business so I can get this Promo thing right lol.
The way you have to constantly create Content & reels on instagram has me just all over the place lol!
But one thing I know forsure, word of mouth never fails!!!

My business Focuses on cosmetic dentistry.
When I came home from Prison with in the first month out I jumped right back into dentistry.
While working in the Dental field I see how people are not only over charged but bribed into getting things they don’t need because of the lack of knowledge they have about their own teeth.
I Completed my Dental training in California w/ a Associates degree in 2012.
I decided to also expand my certifications throughout other states like Georgia.
I have Experience Assisting Doctors through Oral Surgeries and General procedures such as Root canals, Restorations( Fillings ) .
I alone specialize in Tooth Gems/ Charms, Teeth Whitening, (Braces)/records, the proper way to prep teeth, seat/ remove brackets, and adjust the wires during treatment starts to finish.
I am mostly known for my Creativity and just being able to catch a persons vibe or personality and
add to it just to create something just for them!
The things that set me apart from other Businesses similar to mine, is the Fact that I’m Certified by the state and still currently working in a Dental office.
A lot of Tooth Gem artist are not certified by the state nor have their Extended Duties certification.
I can say I’m Proud to know what it feels like to hit rock bottom and build patience , so that I can be able to listen and feel like I have a clear understanding when people talk to me and tell me about themselves or just even a little of their stories.
when people come to me they’re most likely in a new chapter of their life.
They’re looking to reward themselves with something new to remind them of their new beginning.
I have the most reasonable prices, but the Best work.
I am always running specials because I know its hard out here for people to afford the things they need and want
so I feel that God has really given me all I can ask for, so why not Help others .

Business takes more then just Money to Grow;
It takes Prayers, Tears, Support, Patience, Communication, Knowledge, Understanding, and Accountability !
