Inspiring Conversations with Nataki Onyemachi of Empowering U

Today we’d like to introduce you to Nataki Onyemachi.

Hi Nataki, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I grew up in rural Charleston, SC with loving grandparents and a village of amazing cousins. Always had a love for learning but it was my amazing teachers that fostered this passion and pulled my leadership abilities and people skills to the forefront. I traveled the traditional educational path, BS, and master’s in business administration and project management. I worked in public and private sectors until the spirit of Entrepreneurship hit me. I began doing project management consulting work in the urban areas of Atlanta with non-profit organizations and teaching on the collegiate level. However, it was my home foreclosure in 2011 that took me into the dark night of the soul. As I could feel a shift in awareness, my old world came crashing down. I began collaborating with a spiritual teacher and began my own self-healing journey. As a result, I gained more interest in the field of energy medicine. My studies evolved as I learned the technique of remote home clearing and after some time began the service of home clearing to others. This led me to deeper connection of energy medicine and increased my love for the field. I continued to cultivate my gifts through spiritual practices and began to facilitate these services and classes to others. When covid hit, my apartment lease was not renewed due to slow payments as my work decreased during this time, so I took my work on the road. I was guided to travel the East coast Virginia area where I began to tap into my Native American Heritage. I was then guided to Ghana for three months. Upon visiting the slave sites, I received more confirmation of my Native American lineage. I returned to Atlanta. When I asked the question, “How do I continue to help my clients?’, I was guided to South America. There I was introduced to plant medicine and many other indigenous ceremonies which enhanced my spiritual growth and services I offer to help others on their path. I completed four vision quests (Mexican Toltec Tradition) and four moon dances. I have facilitated Cocoa Ceremonies, plant medicine integration sessions and Sacred Plant Medicine Classes and integrate this wisdom into my services to assist others on their spiritual journeys.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
My spiritual awakening and transformation and alignment with my new path was met with many challenges. Previous ways of beings and old beliefs collapsed. My social appetite, my relationships, conversations, and the type of work I would be available for even as an entrepreneur underwent a huge transformation. Navigating these feelings was often overwhelming as I was met with inner- resistance trying to merge the two worlds. One foot in the old self and my soul reaching out for the new me. Therefore, distancing myself as much as possible from friends and family was the only way I felt sane. I spent hours searching YouTube looking for answers until I came to realize the answers were within. During my transformation, I encountered financial challenges and housing, living temporarily with friends and in hotels when I needed my space. Living with other people was as uncomfortable for them as it was for me mainly because I could not put into words what I was experiencing. However, I knew I was going in the right direction as I felt more alive. What kept me going was also teaching. During this time, I was teaching on the collegiate level. When I entered the classroom, everything I was dealing with would collapse. Finding my footing in this new awareness became easier as I began to surrender and accept my path. I began to have a deeper understanding of what I was experiencing after I aligned with a spiritual guide and others on similar paths.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
My business services evolved to meet the need of humanity as we navigate these changing times. We are experiencing a significant shift on Earth—a collective transformation that is impacting people everywhere. As I personally underwent a transformation as I aligned with my true passion, my service is to assist others as they move through their personal and professional transformation with greater ease. I offer my clients a safe space to explore their shift in awareness, fears, darkest moments, and passions. They feel heard, listened to and trust their path. My love for what I do, sincerity and transparency is what I am most proud of as I continually work on myself to be an open channel for others. My fees are pleasantly designed to accommodate those who are ready to make spiritual investment. Everyone may not understand the invisible forces and energy that surround them or that is within, therefore, I am available for those who feel the call to learn more. I provide as much clarity as I can meet them exactly where they are and create a safe space and provide them with tools and guidance so that they feel supported on their journey. My offerings include online spiritual classes along with an array of self-healing journeys specifically tailored for their unique path. I also facilitate an online platform called “Conscious Conversations” held twice a month to engage in stimulating conversations to bring forth awareness and tips for continual expansion of knowledge and wisdom. I am the author of “Making Manifestations Magical Journal”. A journal to use as a tool and guide for self-exploration to ignite your passion.
