Hi Randa, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I started PeachSites with one goal: to make professional, polished websites truly accessible for small businesses.

As a small business owner myself, I know how overwhelming—and expensive—the tech side of running a business can feel. That’s why I focus on taking that stress off your plate so you can stay focused on what you do best: serving your clients.

For the past 20+ years, I’ve worked across industries in web design and software UI/UX design and sales. I’m at my best when I’m designing and managing functional, beautiful websites that are easy for anyone to use. This mix of creativity and technical experience helps me solve problems quickly and deliver fast turnarounds—without sacrificing quality.

My web journey started after I graduated from the University of Alabama in 2005. My first job was with an e-learning company in Atlanta, where I learned to build websites in Dreamweaver. The technology has changed a lot since then, but my love for creating clean, effective online experiences has only grown. Today, modern tools allow me to build fully functional, gorgeous websites far more efficiently—and I pass that efficiency on to my clients in the form of lower costs and smoother launches.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No, it has not been a smooth road. I worked in sales for many years across several industries, including real estate, flooring, advertising, and software. Over time, I came to realize that what I truly enjoy is building and designing digital interfaces. In the software industry especially, I loved creating websites and custom interfaces for my clients.

When my employment at the software company ended a few years ago, I was optimistic about finding a similar role. Given my education and years of experience, I expected the transition to be relatively easy, but it wasn’t. I took on freelance work building interfaces for clients, helped my husband with his pool business, and continued actively searching for new opportunities.

After months without receiving any strong offers, I had to reevaluate what I wanted to do next based on both my skill set and what I genuinely enjoyed. Reflecting on my time in the software industry, I realized that what I loved most was working with small businesses and building custom digital solutions to support them.

After researching different tools and platforms, I eventually found a website design program that I could white-label and use to grow my own business. While it took many years to fully understand what I enjoy doing and how I can best help others, I’ve finally found a path that aligns with both my skills and passions.

We’ve been impressed with PeachSites, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
PeachSites is a boutique website design business specializing in custom websites and technical solutions for small businesses. Before we let you go, we’ve got to ask if you have any advice for those who are just starting out?
The best advice I can give is to listen to your intuition. Trust yourself, block out the outside noise, and stay confident in the fact that no one else is you. No one else has your exact experiences, perspective, or understanding—and that uniqueness is your greatest value.

When I was just starting out, I wish I had trusted my intuition sooner. I spent too much time second-guessing myself and overanalyzing every decision. What I’ve learned since then is that clarity comes from action. You don’t need to have everything figured out before you begin.

My advice is to keep showing up. Try things. If something doesn’t work, adjust and try something else. Don’t get stuck in analysis paralysis—progress comes from momentum. Consistency, self-trust, and willingness to learn as you go will take you much farther than waiting for the “perfect” plan.
