Today we’d like to introduce you to Taliah Karim
Hi Taliah, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
So here’s a fun fact – In college I majored in Biology with a concentration in pre med and even then – when my dream was to become a doctor I wanted to have my own practice.
During my childhood my dad was an entrepreneur so I’ve always felt a strong connection to entrepreneurship. Even while excelling to a leadership position during my career in property management I was strategically crafting the vision for this powerhouse real estate company I would someday own. Once I began using my real estate license I had begun to develop a passion for helping people build wealth through real estate and this brightened my view of the horizon and it became clear what impact I wanted to make. As a lover of details I had thought of every aspect – who our clientele would be, how would I incorporate my love for fine tuning anything I touched, what I wanted the culture and environment to embody — I thought about it being a rarity to find luxury real estate agencies owned and operated by a woman of color and I wanted to redefine that narrative.
Our journey began in New York, where I was born, raised, and first became licensed. From there, we expanded our services into New Jersey, my home state, and eventually reached Atlanta, GA—my second home, where most of my family now resides.
Bringing my dream to life has been a remarkable journey and today I’m proud to lead a company and team that operate at the highest level. We’re dedicated to providing a truly one-of-a-kind experience, with excellence driving everything we do. While we’ve come far, there’s still so much ahead—more lives to impact, relationships to foster, and goals to achieve.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It’s been far from a smooth journey. I’ve failed by making the wrong choices, having the wrong people by my side, and neglecting to take care of the business. Those challenges taught me fast what it truly means when they say, ‘business is business.’”

What does success mean to you?
To me success me is about achieving goals you’ve set for yourself, feeling fulfilled by what you do and the impact you leave on others. It’s not just about making money or climbing the career ladder – though that can be a part of it – but about finding balance, meaning and satisfaction in your life.
