Inspiring Conversations with Trevaris Tutt of Occupy Everything

Today we’d like to introduce you to Trevaris Tutt.

Hi Trevaris, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My first love was always music and the arts. I am from Duval County (Jacksonville, FL). I started off in real estate to build capital for philanthropic and entertainment ventures that I had already built up. In the process I fell in love with real estate and built an ecosystem of real estate companies including a real estate brokerage, real estate school, mortgage brokerage, development company, and property management. I scaled these companies up nationwide and I am still doing philanthropic work and ventures in the entertainment space. Two of the main markets I begin to scale my network and businesses to were Atlanta, GA (with having an office in Duluth, GA) and Miami, FL.

I also curate small and major events including upscale parties, concerts, day parties, conferences. I manage music artist as well. I also mentor people in business and help build community.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
At times it had been smooth but when building anything, there will always been struggles and hardships. I built most of my companies by myself and finding people who I could trust to delegate things to was a journey in and of itself. It is still a journey but organically, the right people are coming along. Also, building with your own capital can also feel limiting when you have big plans, however, I have found a way to make things happen.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Occupy Everything?
I am the Broker and owner of Occupy Real Estate Group. Occupy Real Estate Group operates in several states across the nation. I am a Jacksonville, FL native but also has lived in many different states and have a diverse background. I have a wealth of experience with real estate transactions, real estate development, mortgage origination, property management, and personal real estate investing. There are various other licenses and skills that I have but these are the most prominent.

I am also the owner of Occupy Entertainment Group which manages and invest in artist as well as curates events.

I also am the owner of several non-profits which focus on research of holistic health and financial literacy.

We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
Real success is defined by being able to escape the rat race and find the life that allows you to wake up every morning excited about your next journey. It also is a life which doesn’t require you to miss out on the world that is happening around you including nature, family, and friends.
