Today we’d like to introduce you to Tylia (Tally) Wallace.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I started my career in the Fashion industry. Back in 2016 when I was 22 years old, I started working for my sister who is very well known in Atlanta for all her luxury designer goods. I started off part-time as my sister’s personal assistant for her company “ADailyDiva”. As I grew into my full-time position within Adailydiva I adapted the skillsets of marketing, networking, event curation & many more vital skillsets to take into entrepreneurship. From there, one of my very close friends got drafted into the NBA and I decided to take my talent into a whole new field. I became a part-time personal assistant for a professional athlete in addition to operating one of the Hottest luxury boutiques in Atlanta. I enhanced my portfolio by picking up more skillsets from working independently with professional players by handling their day to day operations outside of being on the court.
Curating websites, planning sports camps, controlling social media handles, email correspondence, travel coordination, property management and I was even certified to handle the kiddos! I mean I was a fully equipped personal assistant! From there, my work started to showcase itself throughout the league then I picked up another NBA client and became a full-time independent contractor for pro-athletes as a Personal Assistant working with clients on the Atlanta Hawks and Brooklyn Nets. I worked in this position up until 2019. In 2019, I decided I wanted to take a slight break from working hands on with pro-athletes and I decided to jump into the Music industry. I left New York came back to Atlanta and took a Studio Manager position under a known Artist. I fulfilled that role for a while until the pandemic hit then I decided to create my own full concierge company. My goal was to be able to provide services all around to my clients to the point they wouldn’t have to outsource for much. Boom! I finally stepped into a role of full-time entrepreneurship creating The Tally Firm and Tally Firm Realty Group.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
I would say the most challenging thing for me was learning patience. Sometimes I would get so upset because I was working so hard to accomplish my dreams but it wasn’t happening in the timeframe I expected. I would also often second guess my ability to get things done just because my journey may have taken a detour. I had to literally accept that my time is my time. My success isn’t a race for no one not even myself! I had to learn patience and recognize timing is everything. Take your time with perfecting your craft, no one can take away anything destined to be for you!
As you know, we’re big fans of The Tally Firm/ Tally Firm Realty Group. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
