Jeff Glassmeyer’s Stories, Lessons & Insights

We recently had the chance to connect with Jeff Glassmeyer and have shared our conversation below.

Jeff, it’s always a pleasure to learn from you and your journey. Let’s start with a bit of a warmup: What’s more important to you—intelligence, energy, or integrity?
Integrity is the foundation of a successful home inspection business because clients rely on your honesty and accuracy to make major financial decisions. Every inspection impacts safety, trust, and investment, so reporting findings exactly as they are—without bias or outside pressure—is essential. In a profession built on reputation, integrity ensures your name carries credibility, protects you legally and ethically, and strengthens long-term relationships with clients and real estate professionals. People may forget the details of an inspection, but they’ll always remember that you were honest, fair, and had their best interests at heart.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Meet Jeff Glassmeyer, owner of Certified Home Inspectors LLC, serving Marietta, Acworth, Roswell, Woodstock, Dallas, Alpharetta, and surrounding Georgia communities. With over 11 years of hands-on experience in home inspection, Jeff built his business on one core principle integrity above all else. Every inspection is approached with precision, transparency, and a genuine commitment to helping clients make informed, confident decisions about their homes. What sets Certified Home Inspectors apart is Jeff’s attention to detail, his focus on educating homeowners throughout the process, and his dedication to providing clear, honest reports not just checking boxes. Jeff’s mission is simple: to raise the standard of home inspections in Georgia through trust, expertise, and unmatched customer care.

Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. Who taught you the most about work?
My father taught me the most about work. From a young teenager my father has taught me there are no short cuts in life. You have to work hard everyday. Not only in your career but more importantly in family.

If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
If I could say one thing to my young self it would be, believe in yourself and don’t be afraid to take chances.

Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. Is the public version of you the real you?
What you see is what you get. Always be yourself, weather in your house or in public. Life is already complicated enough.

Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
When I’m gone I want people to remember me for the the positive influence I had on them.
