Life, Values & Legacy: Our Chat with Christina Gault of Peachtree City

Christina Gault shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.

Christina, so good to connect and we’re excited to share your story and insights with our audience. There’s a ton to learn from your story, but let’s start with a warm up before we get into the heart of the interview. What is a normal day like for you right now?
No two days look the same here, and that’s what keeps it exciting. We usually kick things off by checking in on customer requests and updating designs — a lot of our projects are custom, so making sure clients are happy with their “version” before we start cutting is important.

From there, the shop comes alive. Our machinists are running CNC programs, welders are fabricating, and the plasma cutter is humming. Some jobs are one-off prototypes, others are repeat production, and sometimes our crew heads out for onsite welding or repairs.

By the afternoon, we’re finishing parts, checking quality, and lining up the next day’s work. It’s a balance of design, hands-on craftsmanship, and customer service — and that variety is what we love most about what we do.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m Christina Gault, founder of Gault Designs in Peachtree City. We create custom steel furniture and architectural pieces that combine durability with modern design. What makes us unique is our ability to take raw steel and turn it into something both functional and beautiful — pieces that truly last a lifetime.

Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
I was the kid labeled strong-willed and told to quiet down, instead of being encouraged to follow my own creative path. The truth is, I was simply imaginative — always sketching, always seeing new ideas in the world around me. For as long as I can remember, I’ve viewed the world as a blank canvas waiting to be shaped.

Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. What’s a belief or project you’re committed to, no matter how long it takes?
We had an ongoing project that stretched over five years, with the design constantly evolving along the way. Through patience and a real commitment to understanding our customer’s needs, we eventually reached the light at the end of the tunnel. It became one of our greatest projects, and looking back, it taught me invaluable lessons about communication — not just with our customer, but also with the designers involved.

Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: If immortality were real, what would you build?
I would build larger manufacturing and design facilities ALL AROUND THE WORLD — spaces that gives us the room to take on bigger projects, expand our capabilities, and keep pushing the boundaries of what we can create for the world.
