We’re looking forward to introducing you to Jasmine (Slim gawd) King. Check out our conversation below.
Hi Jasmine (Slim gawd), thank you for taking the time to reflect back on your journey with us. I think our readers are in for a real treat. There is so much we can all learn from each other and so thank you again for opening up with us. Let’s get into it: What is a normal day like for you right now?
A normal day for me starts with some quiet time I like to center myself before things get busy. I usually spend the morning handling creative work or communication, and then focus on content, auditions, or business planning later in the day. I make sure to take moments to breathe, walk my dog, or listen to music balance keeps me grounded and inspired.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hi, I’m Jasmine King an actress, creative entrepreneur, and someone who’s passionate about self-expression, confidence, and storytelling. I’ve always believed that what makes people stand out is their authenticity, and that’s exactly what I aim to reflect through my work and my brand.
My brand blends entertainment, beauty, and empowerment I love creating spaces that inspire people to feel confident, sexy, and unapologetically themselves. Whether it’s through acting, content creation, or developing products that make people feel good in their own skin, everything I do is rooted in authenticity and passion.
What makes my journey unique is that it’s all been built from the ground up through faith, creativity, and real-life experiences. I’ve learned to embrace both the glamour and the grind. Right now, I’m focused on growing my brand, exploring new creative collaborations, and building something that represents strength, femininity, and individuality. I want people to feel inspired not just by the end result, but by the process of becoming who they are.
Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
My mom saw me clearly before I could see myself. She always reminded me of my potential, even when I doubted it. Looking back, I realize she saw the strength and purpose in me that I was still growing into.
When did you stop hiding your pain and start using it as power?
When I spoke out bout wheat I experienced when I was nine I talk bout it openly all the time. & honestly thinking bout turning it into a book.
So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. Is the public version of you the real you?
The public version of me is real it’s just one side of who I am. What people see is genuine, but it’s also curated. There’s a softer, quieter version of me that doesn’t always live online or in front of the camera. I think the public me represents my confidence and creativity, while the private me holds my growth, peace, and reflection
Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
I hope people remember me as someone who led with heart. who made others feel seen, beautiful, and valued. Someone who wasn’t afraid to be real, to grow, and to love out loud. I want people to say my energy made them feel peace, and that I lived life fully and authentically.
