We recently had the chance to connect with Patricia Davis and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Patricia , thank you so much for taking time out of your busy day to share your story, experiences and insights with our readers. Let’s jump right in with an interesting one: What is something outside of work that is bringing you joy lately?
Outside of work I have a women’s group. I love meeting with them and exploring the city. We all our professionals that need a day or night out.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m a Realtor, Managing Broker with RE/MAX Gold, and owner of Trisha The Realtor, LLC where we focus on first time homebuyers and managing properties for investors. I’m passionate about helping first-time buyers and families achieve homeownership because I’ve walked that journey myself. My work combines real estate expertise with empowerment and education through homebuyer seminars, financial literacy initiatives, and my women’s group “Heal, Empower, and Socialize. Right now, I’m expanding my team and working on my first real estate development project while continuing to help people build wealth and create legacies.
Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. What did you believe about yourself as a child that you no longer believe?
Growing up I believed I wasn’t meant to take up space that being loud or visible would make people uncomfortable. Over time I learned that shrinking myself only held others back from seeing me and my gifts. Today I speak with confidence because I know my story helps others believe they can succeed too, and I use my voice to educate, empower, and open doors for first-time buyers and women entrepreneurs.
What did suffering teach you that success never could?
Experiencing loss taught me that I am resilient, that even in my lowest moments I have the strength to rise, rebuild, and keep going. Suffering taught me patience, empathy, and faith in myself in a way that success never could. It showed me that my power isn’t just in winning it’s in overcoming.
I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
My closest friends would say that I have a big heart and genuinely care about helping others succeed. They’d tell you I’m passionate about empowering women, whether it’s through my real estate work, financial education, or events like “Coffee & Conversation.” They’d also say I’m a go-getter who doesn’t shy away from challenges and is always looking for ways to make a positive impact. For me, it’s not just about achieving success for myself it’s about lifting others up and helping them see their own potential.
Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
I hope people remember me as someone who made a difference in the lives of others. I want them to say that I empowered women, helped families achieve their dreams of homeownership, and never shied away from challenges. I hope they remember my heart, my determination, and my commitment to lifting others up. More than anything, I want the story they tell to reflect that I lived with purpose, generosity, and courage, leaving a legacy that inspired others to believe in themselves and their potential.
