Porchea-Londone Spencer shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.
Hi Porchea-Londone, thank you for taking the time to reflect back on your journey with us. I think our readers are in for a real treat. There is so much we can all learn from each other and so thank you again for opening up with us. Let’s get into it: What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
My mornings are intentional. The first 90 minutes are all about pouring into myself. I start with prayer to center me spiritually, then a workout to strengthen me physically, and I take time to find peace mentally to set the tone for the rest of the day. It’s how I invest in myself before I give anything to anyone else.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m a digital marketing strategist who knows how to make brands impossible to ignore. With over a decade in the game, I’ve helped beauty and lifestyle brands grow by turning smart strategy into stories people actually care about. What makes me unique is that I don’t just focus on numbers or aesthetic, I marry creativity with strategy in a way that feels fresh and unforgettable. Outside of client work, I’m building my own platform where fashion, storytelling, and marketing collide. It’s my way of proving you can be smart, stylish, and strategic all at once.
Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. What was your earliest memory of feeling powerful?
My earliest memory of feeling powerful was around six or seven, when I became very vocal about what I wanted to wear. I knew what made me feel like myself and I wasn’t shy about saying it. For me, power has always been tied to self-assurance, both in how I present myself and how I use my voice. Even as a kid I understood that, and it’s a confidence I’ve carried ever since while still making room for growth and transformation.
When did you last change your mind about something important?
A few years ago, I had a major shift in my thinking when I realized I’m the only one who truly has to live with the consequences of my decisions. As someone who’s naturally a leader, I had always carried the weight of how my choices impacted others. But that moment taught me to prioritize myself. Like they say on airplanes, you have to put your own oxygen mask on first before you can help anyone else. Now I make decisions with my future self in mind. I ask, how will this affect me in 24 hours, a month, or a year? That framework, paired with prayer has become the foundation for how I move.
I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. Is the public version of you the real you?
Yes and no. I’m always authentic, but I’m also very private. After my divorce, I lost a lot of people. At first it felt like betrayal, but I’ve come to see it as protection. I’m transparent with my growing social media community, but I also keep certain things for my tried and true loyal circle who have held me down and up through varies seasons. That balance is important to me. I also love a good kiki with my followers, and if you’re on my email list, you know that’s where the real tea gets spilled.
Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: Could you give everything your best, even if no one ever praised you for it?
Motivation has to start from within. Applause isn’t guaranteed. You have to know how to clap for yourself.
