Today we’d like to introduce you to Alison Gore.

Hi Alison, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I’ve been battling with endometriosis since I was 19, now 25! Endometriosis is basically a disease in which tissue that normally lines the uterus grows outside the uterus and causes extreme discomfort. It does not have a cure, but I’ve had surgeries and tried different treatments to at least keep the pain at a minimum. It wasn’t until the pandemic where I chose to take a different route. I decided to take charge of my own health by exercising and changing my diet. The world was shut down, so since I couldn’t go places to show off my cute clothes, I figured I could wear fashionable athletic apparel.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The road hasn’t been smooth. When I first released AG FIT, I was just a month post-op. My family was in town to help around. They actually shipped all my packages off for me. I can honestly say I didn’t expect the line to take off as fast as it did! But I’m so blessed for the support.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
The purpose behind AG FIT is to motivate women to take their health seriously. We can eat good, exercise and look good at the same time. I plan to take my platform further by discussing women’s health that is most times overlooked. We as women are sometimes embarrassed to discuss our health issues because of the gossip of infertility issues that comes with it.

Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
Throughout my journey, I’ve learned to have faith and never worry about things I can not control. It has helped me in my personal life and my business endeavors.
