Life & Work with Amanda Ethridge of Atlanta

Today we’d like to introduce you to Amanda Ethridge.

Hi Amanda, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Get Stacked Beads was born during one of the hardest seasons of my life. In a time when I felt lost, I leaned into my faith and began making jewelry as a creative outlet. What started as a way to heal, quickly became something so much bigger. Through creating, I found peace. Through sharing my jewelry and my story, I found the community I had been longing for. That journey changed my life and became the foundation of Get Stacked Beads.

Today, our mission is simple…to create beautiful, high-quality jewelry at a price everyone can afford. We believe every woman deserves to feel confident, stylish, and seen without spending a fortune.

Every collection is thoughtfully designed to be effortless to wear, easy to layer, and versatile enough for everyday life. From our signature bracelet stacks to colorful scarf necklaces and seasonal statement pieces, we create styles that bring joy, spark confidence, and help women express their unique personality.

As a woman-owned small business, community remains at the heart of everything we do. We proudly partner with schools, sororities, nonprofits, and local organizations, believing that business is about more than selling jewelry, it’s about creating meaningful connections and giving back whenever we can.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Not at all. Like most small business owners, I’ve experienced incredible highs and discouraging lows. I’ve done markets where I packed up wondering if all the work was worth it because I barely made a sale. I’ve also had events where I sold more than I ever thought possible.

Those ups and downs have taught me that success isn’t built in one day, one market, or one collection. It’s built through consistency, resilience, and showing up even when it’s hard.

My faith has been the anchor through every season. It reminds me that my worth isn’t determined by one bad show or one great one. I truly believe God gave me this passion for a reason, and I’ve always felt I was created for something bigger than the obstacles in front of me.

For me, this business has never been about chasing overnight success. It’s about longevity, about building a brand rooted in authenticity, serving people well, creating community, and trusting that faithfulness over time produces something lasting.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am the founder and designer behind Get Stacked Beads, a woman-owned jewelry brand built on the belief that beautiful, quality jewelry should be affordable and accessible to everyone.

What started as a personal creative outlet during one of the hardest seasons of my life has grown into a thriving business and an incredible community. I found healing through creating, and today I have the privilege of creating pieces that help other women feel confident, beautiful, and connected.

I specialize in designing effortless, on trend jewelry that can be mixed, matched, and worn every day.

More than anything, I think we’re known for building community. Whether it’s partnering with schools, sororities, charities, or local businesses, I love creating opportunities for people to connect while giving back. Seeing customers return year after year, introduce their friends to the brand, and share their Get Stacked collections is one of the greatest compliments I could ever receive.

What I’m most proud of isn’t just the growth of the business, it’s the impact it’s had. A business that was born from a place of healing has become a source of joy, confidence, friendship, and purpose for so many women, including myself.

What sets Get Stacked Beads apart is that every piece has heart behind it. I don’t just sell jewelry, I create connection. My faith continues to guide every decision I make, and I believe that staying true to my purpose, serving others well, and focusing on the long game has been the foundation of everything we’ve built.

What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
One of the things I love most about our city is the opportunity. It’s large enough to be full of incredible people, creativity, and small businesses, yet it still feels approachable and connected. I’ve had the chance to meet people from all walks of life, build genuine relationships, and watch this community rally around local businesses in such meaningful ways. There’s a real sense that people want to support one another, and that’s something I never take for granted.

If I had to choose something I like least, it would probably be how easy it is to get caught up in the hustle. Like many growing cities, everyone seems to be moving a mile a minute. I’ve had to learn to slow down, protect my peace, and remember that success isn’t just about staying busy, it’s about building meaningful relationships and creating something that lasts.
