Life & Work with Dr. Demoine Kinney of Conyers

Today we’d like to introduce you to Dr. Demoine Kinney

Hi Dr. Demoine, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
While I was in the Air Force I started my company D. Kinney Research, Development and Consulting where we specialized in Research and Development in the areas of Business, Government Contracting and Finance. After my Air Force Career I move to Atlanta to go to Film School at SCAD. They encouraged the students to start their own film company. I launched Eksadas Entertainment Group LLC shortly after where we specialize in Film/TV/Music Production and Distribution. While Producing Film and TV projects I became aware of the need for a children and teen acting program and The Kids Acting Academy and Performing Arts Center was birthed to train and develop young talent and prepare them for the industry. After things slowed down just before COVID I reenterted the funeral industry by way of Gregory B Levett and Sons Funeral Home. I say reentered because I grew up in the funeral industry by way of my families funeral home in Dillon SC (Bartells Funeral Home). I was encouraged by Mr. Levett, a friend of mine Albert Mapp and my cousin Kenny Rogers to launch a mortuary Removal business and in 2020 Kinney Mortuary Services where we specialize in Mortuary Removals & Transport, Hearse, Limo and Sprinter van rentals and Funeral home staffing. Due to the success of the company we have been blessed to hire 23 people who are still employed. In 2022 I was doing a meditation session and saw myself speaking to a large group of people about the funeral industry and mortuary transport but had no idea how big it was. I saw the name very clearly as well and that same morning The International Mortuary Removal Tech Association Inc. was birthed. We specialize in training, development, networking and much more. We currently have over 4000 active removal technicians and company owners worldwide. Our first convention and expo was December 2023 in Conyers GA and State Representative Doreen Carter presented us a Proclamation from the State Capital. I also serve as Deputy Coroner in Rockdale County alongside my friend and brother George Levett. My life is all about service and I’m so grateful to have the opportunity to serve at this level and with the amazing people that I ‘m blessed to serve with. Lastly, I am blessed to also serve as a Global Business Executive Coach with The Global Black Economic Forum, The Academy of Advancing Excellence and Essence. We have an amazing team and we speak at the Essence festival annually. My latest book “The Doorway to Your Financial Success” was just released and receiving great reviews. I highly recommend it if everyone wants to learn more about crypto currency and block chain especially because it has become mainstream now.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The road hasn’t always been smooth but it’s been worth it. There have been times where I wished I had more people to help me build but somethings have to be built in silence. My journey in life has been easy because my father died in a car accident when I was 6, I lost mulitple family members during my childhood and my military career wasn’t easy because I was always told I had too much going on to be in the Air Force. For instance when I was stationed in Germany I was promoting comedy, jazz and poetry events and I witness my acting First Sergeant take my flyers off of the cars in the parking lot and throw them on the ground. As a child I asked alot of questions and loved to share stories but was told I talked too much and needed to be quite so I did. Many people from my hometown were shocked to see me doing standup comedy and talking during TV interviews because I was so quite at home. The truth was and still is away from my hometown I feel as if I can be my true self. I am a living example that if you believe in yourself great things can happen.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
As an artist I have always dreamed of doing things like being on TV, Playing music with artist that I respect and traveling the world. As a comedian I have performed in some of the greatest clubs, worked with very well known comedians and performed on a few televised shows. As a Saxophonist I have performed on Albums with various artist but the highlight was being on Celine Deon’s Christmas album. As an Actor I have done a few TV shows, films and commercials. My dream was to be in an action film and I was blessed to be in the first Avengers movie and I co starred in a movie called The Watchers Revelation. My dreams have really come true and I believe I’m only beginning and there is more for me to do. As an Author I have written a few books titled The Doorway to Your Success, The Doorway to Your Financial Success, Your 45,000,000 Cryptocurrency portfolio, Manhood: The Struggles of a Man and many more.

What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
I live by what I call the 3 D’s which are Dream, Drive and Determination. My faith in God has always been something that I have held near and dear to my heart because my dreams and vision come from God. I believe that what we are shown is the finished product and we must build what we have been shown. There is nothing in life that we have to figure out because we are shown the things that we are trust to do and to become.
