Life & Work with Hasani Comer

Today we’d like to introduce you to Hasani Comer.

Hasani, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
From a young age, I always knew that my life’s purpose and gifts were meant for something greater than myself. Growing up in a royal family, I learned the importance of humility and giving back to the community. My parents and the people in my village always showed me love and instilled in me a strong foundation of faith in my creator. I was surrounded by inspiring people of faith, including my Auntie Barbra and Uncle Derrick, Auntie Moredena and Uncle Trevor, Auntie Wendy, my second mom Ms. Bernadette, and many others. I have always believed in the power of charity and hard work, and I learned this from my experiences at Johnsons Learning Center, Heaven Sent Daycare with Mr. and Mrs. Patterson, and other youth programs.

My passion for giving led me to create the Hasanivibezcomer Foundation and its related movements, such as the Embrace Yourself movement and the Thanksgiving Land Festival by Mr. Thanksgiving, for family and friends in my community and around the world. I was born on Thanksgiving Day, which only reinforces my love for giving back. By combining my artist name, Hasani Vibez, with Hasani Comèr, I have been able to align my passion for the arts, music, love, and more with my purpose of giving back to the community. So, I would like to introduce you to the Hasani Vibez Comer Foundation.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Growing up as a billionaire prince, I faced various challenges that made my journey far from smooth sailing. I often had to deal with caring about feeling misunderstood due to my out-the-box creative thinking and confidence in my idea, which made it hard for me to be taken seriously as a child. From dreams of buying islands, Moreover, doors were often closed on me, and I had to work harder than most to bring my ideas to life. On top of that, I also had to endure a difficult physical injury, tearing my ACL, LCL, and MCL, my senior year of Highschool as a top football and soccer recruit. However, through it all, I learned the importance of building a relationship with God and accepting my purpose in life. It was not easy understanding who I was and trying to fit in with my peers that didn’t think as large as you or were scared to. I eventually realized that being myself was more important than trying to be someone else to fit in. Despite the challenges, I managed to become a multimillionaire and then a billionaire because of my kingdom mindset and always giving more than what I have.

However, my focus was and is never on money but rather on my purpose and how I could use my passions and resources to inspire and motivate others. I believe that as a living expression of art, through my music, art, and acting, I can make a difference in the world and build structures that empower our youth to think creatively and execute their ideas. Ultimately, my goal is to create a legacy through the Hasani Vibez Comer Foundation, which will provide scholarships, homes, and eventually an institution for young kings and queens to change the world. Now that I am graduating from Morehouse College in May 2023, I will be able to focus full-time on my foundation and make an even greater impact. For anyone else like me out there, here are two scriptures that reminded me I was not crazy for believing in the dreams the creator placed on my heart and in my mind. Philippians 4:11–13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me and also ‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future. ‘” — Jeremiah 29:11

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
The Hasani Vibez Comer Foundation is a philanthropic nonprofit organization with a mission to inspire, empower, and educate the youth on the importance of self-awareness and community involvement. We specialize in bridging gaps between nations and generations worldwide, but we first focus on giving back to our community in the DeKalb, Fulton and Gwinnett areas of Atlanta, where we were raised. Our organization is best known for events like the Hasani Comèr annual Soccer Summer Camp for youth in partnership with Heaven Sent and the Embrace Yourself Mvmnt, a viral movement across the world aimed at inspiring youth. We are proud to announce our upcoming event, Thanksgiving Land with Mr. Thanksgiving, where we plan to gather the community for fellowship, food, and fun. What sets us apart from others is our pure heart posture, creative approach, and dedication to serving our community and the world. As the CEO and founder, I am most proud of the impact we have made so far and the lives we have touched through our events and initiatives. We have so much planned for 2023, Children’s Books, animated series and so much more.

Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
What makes me happy is simply giving back, doing God’s will, and using my gifts to spread his word, love, and positivity. I find joy in helping people discover their God-given purpose by leading by example. Through the arts, such as music, performance, drawing, painting, and acting, I aim to create and convey positive messages in everything I do. My life’s purpose goes beyond me, and my art will continue to inspire and live on for generations to come. I strive to inspire, bring hope and light wherever I go. While I value community, family, and love, it is God’s love and fulfilling his purpose that brings me true Agalliasis.
