Liza Minelly is a vibrant Afro-Latina entrepreneur, student, and multi-talented professional who inspires others to embrace their fullest potential. Born with a drive to excel, Liza has always believed in leveraging her many skills to build a fulfilling life. With roots in Puerto Rican and African American heritage, she celebrates diversity and individuality through her work and lifestyle.

Liza is the founder of Your Million Dollar Barbie, a brand centered on promoting mental, physical, and spiritual well-being. Her mission is to empower others to embrace self-care, clean eating, and positive motivation to lead healthier lives. Through her brand, she shares insights on personal growth, wellness, and her favorite recipes—like her southern chocolate cake—encouraging people to find joy in the little things.

In addition to her entrepreneurial pursuits, Liza is finishing her master’s in Criminal Justice at Johnson & Wales University while also studying for her Georgia Real Estate License. Her passion for justice fuels her ambition to become a lawyer and advocate for the wrongfully accused. Liza’s professional background is as dynamic as her personality—she’s a CDL driver, notary, realtor, translator, and interpreter.

Through her journey, Liza has faced challenges that shaped her into the strong, ambitious woman she is today. From navigating personal hardships to rediscovering her passions, she’s become a beacon of resilience. Whether it’s building her brand, excelling in academics, or creating space for prosperity and happiness in her life, Liza embodies her motto: “We can achieve all things if we believe in our talents and strive for more.”

When she’s not studying or working, Liza enjoys spending time in her personal space, listening to music, and planning her next tropical getaway to the Caribbean.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It hasn’t been a smooth road, but every challenge has shaped me into the person I am today. I’ve faced personal hardships, such as homelessness and strained family relationships, which tested my strength and focus. Balancing my studies, career aspirations, and personal life has been a challenge, but it’s taught me the value of perseverance and self-belief.

Despite these struggles, I’ve remained committed to my goals, whether it’s building Your Million Dollar Barbie, finishing my master’s degree in Criminal Justice, or pursuing my dream of becoming a lawyer. These obstacles have made me more determined to succeed and to use my journey as inspiration for others.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I wear many hats in my professional and personal life, but at the heart of everything I do is a commitment to growth, resilience, and empowering others. I’m the founder of Your Million Dollar Barbie, a brand dedicated to promoting mental and physical wellness. Through this platform, I inspire others to embrace self-care, clean eating, and self-motivation to live fulfilling, healthy lives. I also share lifestyle tips, personal insights, and even recipes that bring joy and balance to everyday life.

I specialize in multitasking across various fields. I’m a criminal justice professional finishing my master’s degree at Johnson & Wales University, a CDL driver, a notary, a realtor, a translator, and an interpreter. What sets me apart is my ability to balance multiple roles while staying true to my purpose of making a difference in everything I do.

I’m most proud of my resilience and the ability to reinvent myself during challenging times. Whether it’s excelling in academics, building a brand that aligns with my values, or pursuing my dream of becoming a lawyer, I bring passion and determination to every aspect of my work.

What matters most to me is living a life of purpose, growth, and authenticity. I believe in using my talents and experiences to make a positive impact on others, whether through my work, personal connections, or my brand, Your Million Dollar Barbie.

Family, faith, and self-empowerment are at the core of what drives me. Building a strong foundation for myself and those I care about is essential because I know the importance of resilience and the strength it takes to overcome obstacles.

Ultimately, what matters most is creating a life that aligns with my values, where I can inspire others to embrace their potential, strive for success, and live in abundance—mentally, spiritually, and physically. This purpose fuels everything I do and reminds me of why I keep pushing forward.
