Today we’d like to introduce you to Master Sergeant Baisden.

Hi Master Sergeant, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
The former founder Lieutenant Colonel (Ret) Keith Horton offered me the Vice President of Operation position in 2019 and because of all the wonderful programs, projects, and my HEARTWORK and dedication to helping Veterans I later became the Chief Executive Officer in 2021 to PRESENT

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has never been a smooth road for me nor my organization because we are a small non-profit services organization without any federal grant funds, no dedicated volunteers, but a high demand of calls from Veterans at risk of being added to the HOMELESS Vetetan population or at risk of having utilities disconnected.

But by the grace of GOD and with the help from Sergeant Major Phillip Chancler Sr from Texas making monthly donations from 2019 to 2024 combined with my out of pocket donations we were able to help stop evictions and foreclosure on homes of several Veterans in various parts of the world.

With GODs mercy some of those that we helped shared their stories via our Great Non-Profit website which lead to other patriots citizens getting involved to help us spread the word on what we are doing for both Veterans & Youths.

We are still struggling after seven (7) years because we need $THOUSANDS$ of dollars on a monthly basis to handle the high demands of Veterans in FINANCIAL crisis and we need 100 loyal dedicated volunteers to help us with all our programs, projects, and events hosted yearly.

If I had three (3) wishes come true it would be for Southern Crescent Veteran Services Inc to have 3,000+ people to donated $26.22 per month faithfully, to have 55+ acres of flat land donated to us at no cost in the states of Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, Texas, and Virginia, and my last wish is to have just ten (10) fortune 500 companies like Bank of America, Chase, WalMart, Amazon, Home Depot, and Microsoft to become our Corporate Sponsors.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I served God & Country in US Army for 30 years 6 months 1 day with one (1) deployment to Kabul Afghanistan where injuries to both wrists, right shoulder, back, and both knees ended my career.

I was forced to medically retire in 2014.

• Donation of $55 can feed a child for one week a healthy breakfast, lunch, and snack
• Donation of $150 cost of ink cartridges for printer
• Donation of $3,000.00 helps stop eviction on home of one Veteran
