Life & Work with Noirelith Yance of Atlanta

Today we’d like to introduce you to Noirelith Yance.

Hi noirelith, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My story began long before Memories Store LLC existed. It began the day I decided to immigrate, leaving behind my country, my family, and everything I had ever known, with the hope of building a better future. Like many immigrants, I arrived in this country full of dreams, but also fear, uncertainty, and many challenges.
For a long time, I worked cleaning houses. Those were days of intense physical and emotional effort, but they also taught me humility, discipline, and resilience. While I was cleaning other people’s homes, I dreamed of one day building something of my own. However, the real turning point in my life came when I found out I was going to become a mother.
With my daughter, not only was a baby born… a new version of me was born as well. A deep desire for growth, stability, and self-improvement awakened inside me. I realized I did not want to simply survive; I wanted to build a legacy. I wanted my daughter to grow up seeing a strong, hardworking woman capable of turning difficulties into opportunities.
That is how Memories Store LLC was born: with faith, creativity, and the determination to move forward. I started little by little, teaching myself everything along the way, making many mistakes, and working long nights after fulfilling my responsibilities as a mother. What began as small personalized gifts made with love slowly grew thanks to the support of people, social media, and the emotional connection we created with our customers.
Today, Memories Store LLC means so much more to me than just a business. It represents proof that dreams can truly be built from the ground up. It represents the immigrant woman who refused to give up, even when the journey felt impossible. And above all, it represents the legacy I am building for my daughter — one rooted in hard work, love, creativity, and perseverance.
I am still growing, still learning, and still dreaming big. But if there is one thing this journey has taught me, it is that sometimes the hardest beginnings end up creating the most beautiful stories.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No, it definitely has not been an easy journey. It has been a path filled with challenges, sacrifices, and moments when I thought maybe I would not be able to make it. But it has also been a journey that has made me stronger and taught me never to give up.
One of the biggest difficulties has been the language barrier. Arriving in a new country without fully speaking English can make even simple things feel overwhelming. Many times, I have had to teach myself, translate everything, research on my own, and face situations while being afraid of not communicating correctly. Even so, I never allowed that to stop my dreams.
Another major challenge was not knowing how to drive at first. I depended on other people to get around, work, or buy materials for my business, which made everything much more difficult. As an immigrant, I also faced financial limitations. I had so many ideas and goals I wanted to achieve, but I did not always have the resources to make them happen right away. I learned how to start with what I had and grow little by little, step by step.
At the same time, I continue carrying one of the most important and beautiful responsibilities of my life: being a mother. While building my business, I am also raising and watching my daughter Samantha grow. Many times, I work with her right beside me — organizing orders, creating designs, and preparing products while taking care of her. Balancing everything has not been easy, but she is exactly my greatest motivation.
Every difficulty has taught me something valuable. And although I am still growing and working toward where I dream of being, today I can look back and feel proud of everything I have overcome to get here.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am the founder of Memories Store LLC, a personalized gifts and event decor business created with love, creativity, and a deep passion for making people feel special through meaningful details.
I specialize in custom creations such as personalized gifts, party decorations, laser engraving, apparel printing, custom tumblers, acrylic pieces, and unique event details designed to turn moments into lasting memories. More than simply creating products, I focus on creating emotional experiences. I truly love capturing my clients’ personalities in every detail so that each piece feels personal, meaningful, and unforgettable.
One of the things people know me for is the emotional connection behind my work. I enjoy listening to my customers’ stories, understanding the meaning behind a celebration, a gift, or a memory, and transforming those emotions into something tangible. Whether it is a birthday, a family moment, a cultural design, or a sentimental gift, I always try to create something that makes people smile, feel seen, and feel connected.
What I am most proud of is not only how much the business has grown, but the fact that I built it from nothing while balancing motherhood, immigration challenges, and personal growth. Every order represents effort, sacrifice, and passion. Seeing people trust me to be part of their most important moments is something I never take for granted.
What makes Memories Store LLC different is the heart behind everything we create. I do not believe personalized products should feel generic. I believe every detail should tell a story. I love playing with emotions, creativity, culture, colors, and meaningful elements to create designs that truly connect with people on a deeper level. For me, it is not just about selling a product — it is about creating memories people can hold onto forever.
