Life & Work with Samson Lamadine of Schenectady NY

Today we’d like to introduce you to Samson Lamadine.

Hi Samson, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I’m originally from Liberia and now based in Schenectady, New York. I’ve been doing music for close to ten years, and I’m on a personal journey toward greatness—exploring sound, frequency, and different styles. My goal is to blend traditional elements with new techniques to create something unique and meaningful through my music.
Growing up music was a big influence in my life, and helped me through the good and bad times. When I started making my own tracks, it was by myself in my room messing with beats and my vocals to see how I could fully put that energy into the song itself. I have more and more songs I wanna make, as rap, freestyle and just the aspect of music writing comes easy to me. I hope to reach a bigger audience to fully show my talents to the world.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The path hasn’t been the easiest, some years were better then others, the money for studio time, life obstacles, family and trying to deal with other stress of the world, but as for now as I’m heading to 30 years old , it’s now or never to fully lock in

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I work in the sales world, from selling cars to now selling hot tubs, being able to communicate with all different types of people adds value overall and helps improve my people’s skills

Risk taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
For a risk, it’s the aspect of my longevity as in putting money into my career for soo long, the only outcome is to be successful
