Meet Adan Bautista

Today we’d like to introduce you to Adan Bautista.

Hi Adan, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Since a young age, I have had an appreciation and passion for architecture and design. I moved to the US at the age of 16 from México.. I decided to dive into the culture, langue by taking on professional challenges before landing in this profession. I have been a Stylist and Image Advisor for the last 15, in the corporate and entertainment industry.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The path to reach where I am today has not been smooth sailing. First, the cultural shock from immigrating from Mexico at a young age and the language barrier played a big part on my professional development. Second, a lack of guidance and understanding of the education system hider the opportunity to fast-track my career in the arts and entertainment.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am an expert Image Consultant and Stylist with over 15 years of experience in the corporate and entertainment industry. I work with celebrities, news anchors, business leaders and models to highlight their best attributes and aspects representing their personality in their professional image.
I am most proud to be recognized in my community as a trailblazer in the beauty industry.

My personalized approach to my craft sets me apart from others in the field. It is essential to deeply connect with my clients so that the outside image reflects who they are inside.

We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
I was lucky to have the opportunity to work in the hospitality industry from a young age and be trained to be a leader. This training provided the structure and tools necessary to build and run my own business. It also helped me to better connect with people and anticipate and understand their needs.
