Meet Affiniti Harris-Mordecai of Pretty Witches, LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Affiniti Harris-Mordecai.

Affiniti, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I discovered my strong intuitive abilities at the age of 3 or 4. I always remember feeling the energy of individuals and animals around me which would often consume me. The emotions of others have always been very easy for me to detect due to my highly sensitive nature. In elementary school, I often felt as though I may be from a “different world” from others since my maturity level was quite different from children around me. In middle/high school I always innately felt a strong connection with others and I was able to give advice to anyone having challenges. In college, I was initially unsure of what to major in. I only knew that my occupation would have to encompass helping others to heal in whatever form that would look like. After a “light bulb” moment, I majored in Psychology with the hopes of providing counseling/coaching to individuals in need. After completing school and becoming licensed as a Clinical Social worker, I held various positions in schools, at mental health agencies, and facilities geared towards holistic healing. Finally, my private practice, Affinity for Bliss, LLC was born in 2016 and Pretty Witches, LLC followed in 2025 as I put a strong emphasis into empowering girls, adolescents and women. This paved the way for me to connect energy healing, life coaching, hypnotherapy, and holistic practices to assist them on their journey of balance mentally, physically and spiritually.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Some of the challenges along the way included the doubts of others around me. I have since learned the importance of protecting your intentions so that the negativity of others do not taint the beautiful seeds that are being planted. It is imperative to be discerning of the energy you keep around you as you are building a legacy. You will eventually attract your tribe of supportive individuals who will become your biggest cheerleaders.

Pretty Witches, LLC provides Empowerment Coaching, Relationship Coaching, Self-Confidence Building, Ways to Discover One’s Passion, Abundance/Wealth Coaching, and Energy Balancing to girls, adolescents and women as they discover the MAGIC of their divine feminine energy. Because societal stigmas, stereotypes and double standards tend to affect the self-esteem and self-confidence of women, Pretty Witches, LLC works on building the character, sense of self and the potential of success for these beautiful women. It also provides an increase in healthy connections with others, balance in life and tools to bring happiness/bliss in their lives. What sets Pretty Witches, LLC apart from the rest is the strong emphasis in the power of the connection of our minds/spirit and how the right spiritual alignment will produce magical and even miraculous experiences.
I see Pretty Witches, LLC increasing its services to others by providing support to women during their transition to school/work, in relationships, during motherhood, during major life events, etc. I also see its services expanding on a macro-level to increase the healing of women on a broader spectrum with retreats, podcasts, seminars, social media forums, published books, articles, etc.

Some of the books that have helped to motivate me as a woman include The Game of Life and how to Play it, by Florence Scovel Shinn, The Law of Attraction by Ester and Jerry Hicks and Set Boundaries, Find Peace by Nedra Glover Tawwab.
