Meet Alexis Faith of Birmingham, Alabama

Today we’d like to introduce you to Alexis Faith.

Hi Alexis, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
How I got started being from Birmingham, Alabama after Highschool 2016 I obtained my degree in mass communications while working so many different jobs. Cooking for restaurants, hotels, catering jobs, and working retail stores. I have been starving of hunger for more income for myself and more wealth for my family. Always hustling and never not working. I am always keeping the money flowing in. Everything shifted for the better in 2020 when I connected with My Man
Vvs Richy. Since I have been managing his business, He has encouraged me to pursue my passion for beauty. I gained so much confidence from modeling for my friends who are local hair and makeup artist in Birmingham it gave me the energy that made me want to boost the confidence in others around me. So I decided to start AVEDA Arts & Sciences Institute Atlanta Cosmetology Program to get My Master Cosmetologist License to provide beauty services in the most professional way. Here I am today disciplined and steady pushing. I’m currently aiming towards the achievement of graduating this September 2025 as a Licensed Beauty Professional.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Certain days can be smoother than others, but you’ll never hear me complain. I just KEEP GOING. Sometimes I barely get enough sleep because I am too busy out networking or planning for the better, my peers even know this about me. Time is everything, so I definitely have had to manage my time wisely even with getting through traffic being on time for my 10 hour day at the school.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am a Beauty Service Provider. I specialize in Hair and Eyebrow Tint services for any race. Meaning it doesn’t matter who you are I can provide a professional service for you. I also continue to still manage My Man business as his Executive Manger. I’m basically the VP of his business. I organize all his meetings, show performances, and clothing brand inventory and sales.
I am most proud of the consistency and commitment to apply myself to each business and still see support and a positive outcome from doing this same work every day.

What are your plans for the future?
My future plans involve me growing and expanding my clientele so that I can soon start teaching Master Blowout & Silk Press Classes.
A major big change is going to be the Grand Opening of my family business Gram Gram Kitchen. A traveling southern food and catering company that provides Brunch, Lunch, Dinner and Dessert options. So be on the listen and look out for more information.
