Today we’d like to introduce you to Amari Jhene

Hi Amari , we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I started my filming and entrepreneurship journey when I was in undergraduate school. I started off producing films off my iPhone until I was able to purchase a new camera. During Covid is when I saw my company start to thrive, based off the number of people who was willing work with me. Fast forward a few years later, I won multiple awards for my films , hosted an annual award show “Visual Awards” that recognizes talent around Alabama and surrounding cities! I love everything about my complain and the people who are connected within it.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I faced a few challenges especially starting out. I had to learn the in and outs of filming and entrepreneurship. Some days I was successful, some days I wasn’t but overall anything that came my way I pushed through to get me where I am today!

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I mostly specialize in Film Directing. However, I am a professional choreographer, model, actress, teacher, mentor, and artist. I’m most proud of how multitalented I am! I thank God everyday for giving me the ability to be able to work and achieve as much as possible with the talents he has given me.

Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
I had to take many financial risks due to the projects that I wanted to produce. Nevertheless, I don’t regret them!
