Meet ANDREW GUERRIER of REVIVE PRIVATE CARE

Today we’d like to introduce you to ANDREW GUERRIER.

Hi ANDREW, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I’m originally from Miami Florida born of Haitian immigrants. I moved to Atlanta in 2004 and had a career working in ministry from 2006-2022. I started out as a sports chaplain and an area director for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. From there I went on to become a youth pastor at a local church and spent my last 7 years in ministry as the Global Outreach Pastor.

The bulk of my career has been spent helping young people and families from underserved communities both locally and internationally. Over the last 5 years I took that same compassion and care for people in need, and I shifted it over to the Healthcare space. So now my ministry is devoted to children and young adults with special needs.

Currently I am part owner of Revive Private Care and I serve as the Client Engagement Director. My role is to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and referral partners to drive satisfaction, retention, and referral growth while ensuring a high-quality client experience across the agency.

I absolutely love what I get to do on a daily basis because this work is very fulfilling and purpose driven.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It hasn’t been a very smooth road, but the obstacles were well worth it. My healthcare journey began and 2021 when I started my first homecare agency and closed it down shortly after.

I didn’t have the right team and support system in place and I knew these children and families deserved to receive quality care that I was not able to deliver at that time.

So I went back to the drawing board and found a business partner who shared the same vision and mission and we formed Revive Private Care.

We’ve been impressed with REVIVE PRIVATE CARE, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
We provide In-Home Private Care Services through the Georgia Pediatric Program to children under the age of 21, who may have significant developmental and/or physical disabilities. The child must be Medicaid eligible, and have a qualifying medical necessity.

What sets our agency apart from others is the desire to be one of the leading homecare agencies in Georgia.

There are alot of providers who do not have the same compassion and care for these children, and many agencies are simply in it for the money. I’m a big fan of cars and I always tell my team that I want Revive Private Care to be the Lamborghini of homecare services 😉

Our agency strives to give children and families a white glove experience from the moment they contact us by tailoring our services to meet the patients needs.

When we are able to focus on our patients specific challenges and strengths, we can provide compassionate, goal-oriented care that helps each child thrive at home and in their community.

If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
Growing up I was always very ambitious and a hard worker. I started my first business at the age of 12 detailing cars at my dad’s body shop. I worked at his shop several days a week as a porter and auto detailer.

So whenever customers would come and pick up their cars, they were always thrilled with how clean their car was. So after their reaction I would hand them a business card and tell them to call me anytime they would like to have the car cleaned again.

I think I only had a beeper number at the time so they would page me whenever they wanted their car cleaned and we would set up an appointment lol.

I always wanted to be help people and be in business for myself, and Revive has helped to fulfill a life-long dream.
