Today we’d like to introduce you to Bonner Ziglor and Karis Nelson.
Bonner and Karis, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I started photography my 11th-grade year of high. I would take pictures of the school cheerleaders just for fun, then I would take pictures of my high school sports team, my photography career started from there.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It has definitely been a struggle. The hardest part I would say has been getting clients to book me, post on social media almost every day, at times, lack of equipment.
Please tell us more about what you do, what you are currently focused on and most proud of.
I do photography, I specialize in portraits. I’m very proud of my growth and dedication.
The hard work I put is never giving up, something that sets me apart from others is my vision and the reason why I do photography. Self-love and self-esteem is very important to me, putting a smile someone’s face makes my day.
Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
The struggles I faced growing up has made me the person I am today which plays a part in both my personal life and my business.
