Meet Branden Green of MEV Photographie in West Midtown

Today we’d like to introduce you to Branden Green.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Branden. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
My journey in photography began as a way to decompress from my job as a consultant. I first began with just doing landscape and cityscape photography. I began doing portraiture when I asked my friend Selena if she would let me take her photos at this antique shop. I’ve been doing portraiture ever since!

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
My photography journey has definitely had its share of obstacles. I had to learn photography from scratch, which was very difficult for me in the beginning. It took about two years for me to build a solid foundational understanding of lighting and composition. Then it was another journey of developing my own unique style.

We’d love to hear more about your work.
My business specializes in fashion editorial and branding photography. We believe that everyone’s moment should be capture and their story told through beautiful imagery. I am most proud of our professionalism and customer service while delivering a high-quality product.

Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
My favorite childhood memory was a two-week student ambassador trip to England and France as a middle schooler, which changed my life. It spurred my love for international studies and to learn French, which I did all through high school and led to my major in International Trade in college.
