Meet Brandi Terrell of Shop With Bee Queen in Alpharetta

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brandi Terrell.

Brandi also known as “Bee” is the current owner of Shop with Bee Queen. “Shop with Bee Queen” is an Atlanta-based clothing, accessories, shoes, hair and business resources online store appealing to women, including plus sizes. Shop with Bee Queen also includes exercise wear for men and women.⁣ Bee loves all things fashion, beauty and lifestyle!

She has previously been the owner of two storefront clothing boutiques in Florida, co-owned a Trucking & Transportation company in Atlanta, an Entertainment and Music Artist Development company and current part-owner of an Educational Consulting company. She serves as a member of several non-profits and community-based organizations including her “Pamper Me Pink” event she holds annually for girls ages 6-17. ⁣

After many of her friends and customers began reaching out for assistance with starting their businesses, the idea of consulting was formed. Consulting has allowed her to assist clients with establishing their own businesses in various fields and capacities. “I enjoy working with people and I love coaching my clients! It feels good to know that they are able to create and run businesses that will ultimately improve their lives and give back to the community in some positive form or fashion.” ⁣

Entrepreneurship isn’t easy. It’s definitely difficult to juggle business, family, a career and all of the other responsibilities that come with life. But, when it’s something you love, you just make it happen!

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
There have definitely been a few struggles along the way. Trying to balance it all, trying to do it all, it can be overwhelming. Late nights, early mornings…sometimes those two tend to run together!

With the sunshine comes the rain. As soon as my business began to take off, and things were looking up, I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. Whew! I didn’t know what I was going to do. Having a strong support system and faith in God definitely is what brought me through! I am now a Breast Cancer survivor taking it all in stride and counting it all joy!

I am living my life to the fullest with no regrets and going full throttle!

Shop With Bee Queen offers affordable women’s clothing, including plus sizes, accessories and shoes as well as top-grade hair extensions, wigs and lashes. I also sell exercise wear for men and women. One of my most popular products, “the sweat vest” for men/women, allows you to increase the amount of sweat acquired while exercising to help lose inches from your waist. I also provide consulting and business resources for new business owners because I understand how difficult and overwhelming starting a new business can be.

I am most proud of the ways in which my business gives back. More than 20% of the proceeds of my business go back into the community. I make it a point to work with non-profit organizations that focus on empowerment and positive self-esteem building for girls and women. I host an empowerment event each year in Florida for young girls with guest speakers, food, games, music, and giveaways. I just believe that “blessed people, bless people!”

Any shoutouts? Who else deserves credit in this story – who has played a meaningful role?
My parents definitely deserve most of the credit. I learned much of what I know from my father and my mother. They are my examples of hard work and dedication. They are retired now but were entrepreneurs while maintaining full-time careers and raising my sister and I. My son and my daughter are my “why”. They are the driving force behind everything that I do, it’s all for them. I want to leave a legacy and be an example for them to follow like my parents are to me. I’m family-oriented so, all of my family, my sister, cousins, aunts, uncles, friends, all of them…they are all my examples, my supporters…my cheerleaders!
