Meet Carolina Escobar of Karol’s Beauty Bar in Lawrenceville

Today we’d like to introduce you to Carolina Escobar.

Carolina, before we jump into specific questions about your practice, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I have been an esthetician for over eight years, I always wanted to open my own business but being a single mom wasn’t so easy to go and open something myself, I tried few times doing mobile waxing and spray tanning but having a full-time job and two kids was hard, few years after I met my husband. He always knew about this dream I had about having my own business he started to motivate me and support me about it!!! and I went for it, and here I am starting with something small but later on wanting to have my own spa!!!

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No, it hasn’t been easy, I failed few times before, being a single mom back then and having a full-time job wasn’t easy at all, but I never stopped and kept trying and pursuing my dream.

Please tell us about your practice.
I have been an esthetician for over eight years I have always loved beauty since I was little, skincare, etc., I’m specialized in facials I have a big variety of facials, I did body waxing for six years and spray tanning for eight years, I’m known for loving my job and always giving my best to each client, to me my career is something that I love and enjoy doing so it really doesn’t feel like a job to me, I’m always learning the best to give my clients the best. what I think that sets me apart from other is that my passion for this career makes me give each client an excellent experience every time they see me and make them feel confident and look better as well.

Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
Loving what I do is most important and seeing big results on my clients is what makes me extremely happy giving my best to each client, and changing their lives making them look better.
