Meet Connie Itchon of Ripped Goddess Fitness

Today we’d like to introduce you to Connie Itchon.

Hi Connie, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I didn’t find fitness – fitness found me. Wow, that’s pretty cliché but let me explain…

Being active has always been part of my life, from riding bikes until the street lights came on, playing softball from rec ball through high school mixed with cheerleading and dance. I stayed active throughout the majority of my pregnancies’ (three beautiful daughters!) but taking care of my family and career left little time for the gym or pretty much anything for myself.

Fast forward to and through the loss of my parents and brother and I found myself on mood disorder medications (anxiety and depression) and essentially not living my best life.

I started lifting. I started eating better. I started feeling better and I started helping others do the same.

Fitness helped me build not just a stronger body but also coping skills and a stronger belief in how to live a life that serves me and others. Medications? Gone!

Helping others discover their highest level of fitness (physical/mental/emotional) through living a healthy lifestyle has been one of the most rewarding roles in my life! During my fitness journey, I started a Facebook community, Ripped Goddess, for women to connect with other women for support and motivation. The Ripped Goddess Community now has close to 500k followers (men and women) and continues to be a platform for positivity, transparency and fitness motivation – we get it all in!

I have clients of all ages and absolutely love being a certified personal trainer. As long as someone needs help on their fitness journey, I will be right there to help.

Fitness found me…I’m here to help others do the same.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
It has NOT always been a smooth road! Struggle? Chocolate and wine. But really – chocolate and wine. I had to learn balance and practice macronutrient tracking. I truly enjoy the physical aspect of fitness so the nutrition component will always be a challenge.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Through Ripped Goddess, I’m able to train clients in person, coach busy executives online and sell merchandise that reflects the RG positive brand.

I absolutely LOVE the energy and chemistry that I have with my clients and community – with me, you’re getting the real me. It’s fun to show up as your authentic self because it allows others to feel comfortable doing the same.

My next chapter will have me back on the stage – before Covid, I was able to travel around the country speaking o groups about fitness and health. There are a few other surprises that I have in store but I’ll save that for the next interview!

Alright so before we go can you talk to us a bit about how people can work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
