Today we’d like to introduce you to Darius and Kristy Hall.

Growing up, I was always interested in the automobile industry. I remember as a child helping my father work on his vehicles. It always brought me great gratification after completing the repairs. As I grew older, I decided to transition into the transportation industry driving semi-tractor trailers. Although, I always knew the automobile industry was my calling. In 2011, I decided to enroll at Georgia Piedmont Technical College to pursue my passion in the automotive field by becoming a Certified Technician. In 2013, I completed the program with six certifications at the top of my class.

After completing the program, I worked as a technician in a few shops around the Metro Atlanta area and even started a mobile mechanic business. I still did not feel complete. As a result, In 2017, Snatchman Towing Service, LLC was established. With the skills acquired as an automotive technician from Georgia Piedmont Technical College and the experience I obtained in the transportation industry allows me [Darius Hall] not only to tow the customer’s vehicle but to also educate them and diagnose most problems on site.

My business partner Kristy Howard-Hall plays an exceptional role in the day-to-day operations and functions of the business. Kristy Hall holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Liberty University with a Lean Six-Sigma Green Belt certification from Georgia State University and over 20 years of experience in distribution,
manufacturing, logistics, and accounting.

Has it been a smooth road?
Being an entrepreneur is no easy task. We have encountered a lot of struggles along the way such as marketing, branding, and advertising. It was a blessing to be selected into the StartME:Atlanta program, which helped us with overcoming the struggles with branding, marketing, and financials.

Our biggest challenge in the industry is safety with distracted drivers. On average, every six days in the United States a tow truck operator is killed on the job.
