Meet Daunte Frazier of Upson Reflections in Metro Atlanta

Today we’d like to introduce you to Daunte Frazier.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Upson Reflections is the fruit of a hobby that started in Savannah, Georgia when I was a young boy. Growing up I was always into art, music, and crafting. Coming from a city rich in history and culture, I always looked at things differently. I saw art take place in many forms right in my own neighborhood, and Art was apart of my everyday life.

Fast forward to 2014, I had a hunger and a thirst for the art form of photography. It had always been a hobby of mine, however, I wanted to expand my creativity and share my “artistic view” with the world. Then, my hobby turned into my passion and career which led to Upson Reflections.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Coming from a small city where it is a close-knit community, business was easy to get. However, when I moved to Atlanta which is much bigger than Savannah, soliciting business was not as easy at first. Some of the difficulty I faced was the fact that Atlanta was saturated with an abundance of photographers, videographers, and just artist period that challenged my skills of photography that I was passionate about.

Upson Reflections LLC – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
Upson Reflections is currently based in Atlanta, GA. Upson Reflections has had the privilege to travel to different locations worldwide to transform family events into photography art masterpieces. Upson Reflections specializes in family, wedding, maternity, modeling, special events, and freelance photography. What Upson Reflections is most proud of as a company is how I am able to capture special moments for my clients, which are the moments that most people might miss during an event.

What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
The most proudest moment in my career so far has been, being selected to shoot a wedding in Texas, and being selected by VoyageATL to share my story.
