Meet Demetrius Jones of Dedicated Grind Clothing in Lagrange

Today we’d like to introduce you to Demetrius Jones.

Demetrius, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Dedicated Grind started in January 2017 on the foundation of a hardworking family that had multiply ways of providing for the family and community. I came with the name off of the way I was raised, and that was to give 100% to whatever I did and you’ll receive the results of you hard work. I got to where I am by the grace of GOD along with sacrifice and patience and also a very strong group of people who supported through the years!

The Name: Dedicated(100%) Grind (Whatever you are passionate about, whether that’s sports, education, family, or success).

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Every business have their obstacles I would say mine were learning on the fly because I am self-taught myself how to do a lot about the clothing industry and be consistent with giving my business the same time I would as if I worked for any other corporation. Once I start putting the time and effort into the business, a lot things came full circle and I’m always open to learning everyday.

Please tell us about Dedicated Grind Clothing.
Dedicated Grind is a motivational based movement/brand. Our goal is to inspire every generation to chase their dreams through motivational gear and positively uplifting. We specialize in apparel that inspires you to never give up on what you believe in. From t-shirts, hoodies, jackets, etc.

I’m most proud of my impact that my business is leaving on my community. I have countless people who tell, email, text, call me to tell how a shirt with “Dedicated Grind” inspire them to work harder on there dreams! What sets us apart from others is that Dedicated Grind is not just a brand it is a way of life, Meaning everyone has a GRIND(Work, School, Family, OR Success) but in order to see positive results from the grind, you have to be 100% Dedicated.

Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
My grandpa owns a bookstore and we travel all across the world interacting with different people, and every summer, I would go to work with learning how to conduct and run a business. I’ve been doing that since I was ten years old still to this very day. My dad & grandpa played a big role in my upbringing as a man and entrepreneur!
