Meet Faryl Seabaugh of Farylann Photography in South Atlanta

Today we’d like to introduce you to Faryl Seabaugh.

Faryl, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
Although I had always dabbled with photography, I became serious about perfecting my craft after I became a mom. I wanted to capture my children as they were. Messy. Silly. Playful. I started branching out and working with other photographers to learn about giving an experience to clients that I wanted to provide. By working with others, I learned what I loved, what I didn’t, and how to provide quality images and an experience. My family session clients have fun! I do capture some images looking at the camera, but my favorite images are always when people let loose and have fun. Tickle fights. Snuggles. Spinning until you’re dizzy. Same for my couples and wedding clients. Let me capture YOU having FUN, artistic, and romantically.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
All photographers have their own style and experience. My biggest struggle was finding what experience I wanted to provide. After establishing my products and services, my struggle became marketing and finding clientele.

Please tell us about Farylann Photography.
I specialize in capturing genuine relationships and your bond as a couple and a family. Photographing with me is a creative outlet for my clients as well as for me. I’m available to help with wardrobe, location choosing (I love coming to your home where you and your children are comfortable), your session, and helping you choose the best way to display your images for your home. I custom design albums, wall art, and choosing the best gifts for parents and family.

Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
In relation to photography, my favorite memory is pestering my family with all of the Polariods I used to take at family gatherings!
