Today we’d like to introduce you to Geoffrey Lewis.
Geoffrey, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
As a graduate of the Central State University College of Business and Industry, my passion for entrepreneurship was developed. I relocated to Atlanta, GA from Dayton, OH in 2006 to begin my professional career. I have worked for two fortune 500 companies in addition to the first billion-dollar bedding retailer. Although I was fortunate enough to achieve great success in corporate America, I could no longer ignore my desire to become an entrepreneur.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Before I made the decision to launch my business, I invested time to shadow other screen printing businesses while conducting research on the printing industry. I strongly encourage budding entrepreneurs to learn as much as they can prior to starting a business. Textbook theory is great but real life situations create new learning lessons each day. I started my business with a small one station four colors Ryonet Sliver Press. I remember my first 100 count shirt order like it was yesterday. It took forever to print! However, after securing several large orders, I knew that I had to scale up my business processes and equipment to increase production. There have been many days that Murphy’s Law has been in full effect! Sometimes anything that can go wrong will! At times juggling sales, marketing, bookkeeping, customer service, social media, printing, and shipping can be cumbersome but I would not trade it for the world. My journey has been filled with incredible experiences and life has been the greatest teacher.

Our Mission: To provide a first-class professional experience that empowers the community to exercise creative expression through printing.
Our Vision: To enhance the fabric of our community.
What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
Some of our proudest moments come from partnering with and sponsoring events for organizations like the Black Rhinos Mentoring Program, Feeding ATL, Taken – Raising awareness for Human trafficking, Healthy South Fultons Family Fun Day, the Atlanta Greek Picnic, and the AEBL Dirty 24. These organizations are all doing amazing things within the community. Together they positively impact thousands of lives in the Atlanta Metro area and we take great pride in working with them to promote their causes. We love these partnerships because so much good comes from them. The act of serving the community adds depth and true meaning to our vision of enhancing the fabric of our community.
Another proud moment is the fact that my mentee, Hassan Tatum Goss from the Black Rhinos mentoring program captured the images for this article.

Geoffrey, I’d like to present a design from your company for Class of 79’ CSU for our 40th reunion. The consensus is they want a long-sleeved T, and just printing on the front. May 5th is when ideas will be presented to the group. Let me know if this is doable.
