Meet Gerald Hunter of Hunters Development and Management in Southwest

Today we’d like to introduce you to Gerald Hunter.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
As a junior in high school, it was imperative for me to “make it”. I’m the second oldest of four kids to a single mom. My father entered the system at an early age. I knew that I didn’t want to follow in his path so I set out to find something that I loved doing. I went through a lot of jobs along the way, but turn key is my passion! I love to see someone’s dream come true! Knowing that I can be a part of making their vision become reality is the true gift!

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Starting my company was not easy at all! When I first set out to start my company, it didn’t go as planned! My finances were not in order which made it very hard to pursue my dreams. After a year or so of working and saving I was able to invest in my first work van and I hit the ground running.

Hunter’s Development & Management LLC. was established 2006 in Atlanta, GA. We’ve become a pillar in the community over the years. We specialize in developing and managing homes and apartments that may need turnkey. We’re here to offer the guidance and (or) service you may need to take you and your property to the next level.

What were you like growing up?
Since I was younger, I’ve always been labeled as an entrepreneur! I remember selling chips, candy and juice in middle school! I also landed a trophy for most humorous in 8th grade! I’ve always been the type of guy to make a way out of no way! Sometimes you have to create your own avenue.
