Meet Graham Loft of Glass Coat Photo Booth in Downtown

Today we’d like to introduce you to Graham Loft.

Graham moved to San Francisco from Atlanta in 2001 to pursue his love of skateboarding. He quickly fell into photography which led him down a path in commercial and editorial photography. This shaped his love for only the best quality prints and images. Seeing the lack of this in the photo booth industry he set out to make a portrait machine that was not only stylish but also hands down, made the best prints possible.

Glass Coat Photo Booth was formed in 2010 in San Francisco and with new locations in Los Angeles and Atlanta things have never been more booming.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Building a business from scratch is never a smooth road but there is no better way to learn than from mistakes. Probably the biggest struggle has been the ever-changing world of photo equipment and the battle of finding the right software, printers, cameras etc. to match the look and feel you want in your product.

What were you like growing up?
Grew up skateboarding in Georgia and moved to California at age 21 to pursue that. It led me to greater things like photography and later on owning my own company.
