Meet Heather Dzubinski of Life is Better at the Beach Vacations in Kennesaw

Today we’d like to introduce you to Heather Dzubinski.

Heather is a certified travel agent with the Cobb Marietta School of Travel since 2000. She has 15 years of experience as a travel agent and agency owner and has sent thousands of clients all over the world in her career. She has booked numerous family vacations, cruises, couples getaways, Spring Break, Disney, Florida and Las Vegas Vacations. She also specializes and has planned many honeymoons, vow renewals, anniversary trips and destination weddings all over the Caribbean and as far as Florence, Italy. She has hands on experience and has visited numerous Caribbean, Mexico and Hawaiian Islands, some of the most popular cruises and beautiful beaches in the world.

Heather started out in the travel industry in 2000 and worked in the corporate travel department of World Championship Wrestling before it was sold to its competitor and closed. She worked at several small leisure travel agencies throughout the next few years, one of which she briefly wrote a bi-monthly travel column in the local magazine The Townlaker and a small excerpt published in the popular travel magazine Caribbean Travel and Life.

Soon thereafter, she became a travel agency owner through an affiliate company Abracadabra Cruises which was one of first original and largest at the time, internet cruise agencies and opened Tropical Travel Dreams.

Since then she has created and designed a women’s resort fashion and accessories boutique www.HEATHERDZUBINSKI.com and has also created Life is Better at the Beach Vacations by Heather Dzubinski which is an affiliate agency of Caribbean Journey which has been in business for 17 years! She has a true passion for travel and loves the beach!

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The EARLY years in travel were easier to find new clients due to being face to face with clients in small travel agencies but now it is a bit more of a challenge with social media and competing travel websites all over the internet. Customers don’t believe there is any benefits to travel agencies and that we charge fees.

Actually we do not charge any additional fees than booking online and we are there to do all the time-consuming research and find them the best deal on a vacation and provide the best customer service.

I believe completely in the true boutique travel experience for a client. I want the client to feel taken care of and prefer to talk to them directly on the phone if they like and assist every step of the way to make sure they have the vacation of their dreams! That is my boutique agency approach!

What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
That I have been lucky enough to have the chance to journey to so many beautiful beaches and islands in the world and that I have been truly blessed to work my passion in owning a travel agency and sell travel.

I get to create happiness and memorable honeymoons, family vacations, destinations and vow renewals that my clients will always remember in their lives!

There is nothing like hearing a client’s happy travel story or seeing them in travel photos smiling with their families. It is a wonderful feeling! It makes me really happy!
