Today we’d like to introduce you to India Nellon.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I’ve been a licensed Master Cosmetologist since 2016, and I’ve always had a passion for the beauty industry. I’m originally from LaGrange, Georgia, but I proudly serve clients throughout the Columbus, Georgia area. I started doing hair while I was still in middle school and continued focusing on hair for many years. In 2022, I discovered a deeper passion for the skincare side of my license and began specializing in waxing and skincare services.

With the help and encouragement of a friend, I started my Brazilian waxing journey, which has now become the primary service I offer through Glow Touch Studio. Today, I provide Brazilian waxing, full-body waxing, and facial services. Building my business has been both challenging and rewarding, and through it all, God has remained at the center of my journey. His guidance has helped me navigate every season and continue growing both personally and professionally.

In 2024, God placed another vision on my heart: a women’s walking group called “Sis, Let’s Walk!” What started as a simple idea has grown into a community for women of all ages and backgrounds. My goal was to create a safe space where women could connect, heal, and prioritize their well being. I currently host walks in LaGrange on Mondays and in Columbus on Tuesdays at 6:30 PM, bringing women together through movement, encouragement, and community. The group is also kid- and pet-friendly, making it an inclusive environment where everyone is welcome.

I believe that many people search for relief from life’s challenges in unhealthy places, but sometimes healing can begin with something as simple as stepping outside and taking a walk. Walking has become a powerful outlet for mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual wellness. Through Sis, Let’s Walk!, I’ve had the opportunity to encourage women to move their bodies, build meaningful connections, and find strength in community.

Whether through beauty services or community wellness, my mission is to help people feel confident, cared for, and empowered to become the best version of themselves.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It has definitely not been a smooth road. There have been many days when I wanted to quit, many days when I questioned myself, and many moments when I didn’t feel worthy of the opportunities and blessings in front of me.

Some of the biggest struggles along the way were feeling like I lacked support, not having enough money to invest in my business the way I wanted to, and simply not having enough time. As an entrepreneur, you’re often wearing multiple hats and carrying responsibilities that many people don’t see behind the scenes. There were times when the weight of it all felt overwhelming.

I’ve also battled self-doubt and the fear of whether I was truly capable of accomplishing the vision God placed in my heart. But through every challenge, I learned to keep moving forward, even when I couldn’t see the full picture.

What has kept me going is my faith in God. Even on the hardest days, I could always find a small piece of faith that reminded me not to give up. Every obstacle became an opportunity to grow, learn, and trust God a little more. Looking back, I’m grateful for the challenges because they helped shape me into the woman, business owner, and community leader I am today.

I’ve learned that success isn’t about never wanting to quit, it’s about continuing to move forward even when things are difficult.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I offer full-body waxing and facial services, with Brazilian waxing being my specialty. My goal is to help every client feel confident, comfortable, and cared for from the moment they walk through the door.

What I’m most proud of is seeing my business grow little by little each year. In August 2026, I will celebrate two years of officially being in business, and that’s a milestone I’m incredibly grateful for. Building a business from the ground up has required faith, consistency, and perseverance, so seeing the growth is very rewarding.

I believe what sets me apart is my genuine love and care for my clients. Every service and every interaction is done with love. I truly enjoy connecting with people and creating a welcoming environment where they feel seen, valued, and comfortable. Many of my clients become more than clients, they become family.

For me, it’s about more than just waxing or skincare. It’s about helping people feel good about themselves, boosting their confidence, and providing an experience that leaves them feeling refreshed both inside and out. That’s what I strive to deliver every single day.

Any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general?
I personally don’t have a mentor at this time, although having one is something I would love in the future. However, I’ve learned that networking and building relationships are incredibly important.

What has worked well for me is putting myself in rooms where growth is happening, being willing to introduce myself to people, asking questions, and staying connected with others in my industry and community. I’ve found that some of the best advice and encouragement can come from genuine conversations with people who have walked a similar path.

My advice would be to stay open, be authentic, and don’t be afraid to reach out to people you admire. Building meaningful relationships takes time, but those connections can open doors, provide support, and help you grow both personally and professionally.

I’ve also learned that sometimes mentorship doesn’t always come in the traditional sense. There have been people who have poured wisdom into me through a conversation, a social media post, or simply by leading through example. Being willing to learn from others wherever you are can make a big difference.
